Nissan Roof Rack Cross Bar Loose? Won't Tighten? Bolt just spins? Easy Fix
My 2015 Nissan Frontier roof rack cross bar has been loose ever since it was new. Tightening the bolt didn't help. And due to a stripped out nut inside the bar, the bolt can't be removed easily.
This video will show you how to remove the bolt from the stripped out nut.
To remove the bar from the roof rack, I just pushed on one side until the entire thing popped out of the rails at an angle.
Some extra tips not mentioned in the video is to use rubbing alcohol or a fast drying Electronic Parts Cleaner or Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner. Spray this cleaner on the pressed in nut to clean it up first and remove any dirt. This will allow the M6 flat washer to really grip when you jam the 2 nuts tog...

From Eggs to Flight - Northern Mockingbird
Просмотров 4,5 тыс.3 года назад
This Mockingbird couple has been in our yard for years. This particular nest was built in just a few days in a bush next to our house. When I noticed 2 eggs in the nest, I quickly set up a camera and left it there for the entire brood. About 13 days of incubating and 13 days of eating and pooping and sibling rivalry before they get forced out of the nest by Mama to learn to fly. Enjoy! 00:00 - ...
How to remove pin from MC4 solar connector

I hope this helps someone trying to depin an MC4 solar connector. Another tip is when you remove the sleeve that's been bent, try to bend it back larger so it grips the housing tightly again.

Keep club on plane on take away? Keep club on plane at top of the swing instead of having it laid off? Feel free to post your comments below.
Cat catching rubber ball in slow motion

This is our cat playing fetch with a rubber ball. It's surprising how coordinated he is after seeing this video in slow motion. After catching it in mid air, he then swats at it to make it stop bouncing. Then he passes back to Sean. Filmed with a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition on 720p at 120fps.

We are now experiencing this. I started watching them when momma bird first laid them. There are 4 baby birds and are hopping around our backyard now. May sound silly but I’m kind of attached to them and will be sad when they fly away.
One egg unhatched? What happened to it?
I love how the daddy bird was shielding his wife ❤
God bless people like u, just vid i was looking for
@@PilotJona Thank you. I was trying to make the video as short and 'to the point' as possible. I can't stand it when people add an intro to their videos or tell their life story first. Haha
@@adogg1818 that is more appreciated than u imagine 💯
@@adogg1818btw i managed to disconnect the pin from the female mc4, but could disconnect the pin for the male mc4.. struggled for a couple hours but never figured it out. Maybe you know how
I have two on my small palm right now!! Beautiful to watch
@@HB-yx5gb Awww that's so awesome!
Thank❤❤❤💯💯💯💯👏👏👏👍👍👍 very much
Fantastic video! What camera did you use and how did you secure the camera on the tree?
@@omgbygollywow It was a surveillance camera for our property that I zip tied to a PVC pipe stuck in the ground.
Extraordinary video!!! Thank you for sharing this amazing journey with all of us 👍👍❤️❤️
Thank you!
So cuteeeee currently have feldgers question looks like momma is eating what’s coming out of the nestlings butt like the poop??
All you have to do is twist it and pull twist and pull and it should come apart no need for any tools
I found a nestling on the ground the siblings somehow fell out of the nest with it car ran over all the other babies unfortunately one was the only one left turn set the nest to high so I picked it up so it wouldn't get run over what's best to feed them
I'm sorry. That's heart breaking. I've never tried to feed a nestling before. But I did learn a lot while making this video. It is normal for them to fall out of the nest and hop around on the ground crying out to their mother. The mother is watching over and still caring for them during this period. And after a few days, you'll see them start to fly and little bit with their mother in lower branches close to the ground. The best thing to do I think is to keep predators away from them like cats during this vulnerable stage. I've never tried to feed one.
I’m watching this 3 years after the first 2 birds hatched. I wonder if they are still alive? Have bird kids of their own?
I'm guessing they are still alive. We have multiple active parents living in our yard year round. I wish I knew which ones are the babies or where they moved to. It's likely the babies grew up and found a different territory. The mockingbirds are very territorial by nature. And they bully and harass any other bird that comes in. We have blue birds that also build a nest each year and the Mockingbirds try to scare them away but the blue birds hold their ground and stay.
Exellent Great Job ❤
Thank you so much 🙏❤
Smart man...🎉
Thanks, had to go through a few videos to find out how to do this.
Thanks for sharing 😇
You're welcome!
Worked like a charm. Thanks.
Thanks for saving my solar project wiring. I did not want to buy another adapter. I can continue to keep red wires positive from panel to controller!
Thanks COOP ...
or just yank on it back in forth it wlll give up an come right out lol
This is dangerous. don't do it, replace the connector.
twist and pull is the answer, no need to pick :D
Thanks for sharing 🫶🏿!
As someone else mentioned, just twist and pull. Don't need any tools and takes just a second.
Great story🎉❤
Worked like a charm, just enough to pass the cable thru a gland nut and reuse. Thanks
Just tried this method and it works just as described. Thanks very much!
You didn’t show how exactly you remove from MC4. You just tell only how you remove it with that small pin
alot of these conectoirs are spotty and dont work unless u move the wire a certain way, how to fix that? just remove it? and put in new one?
There are a lot of cheap connectors on the market that may be problematic. The pin is not designed to come out like my video shows. You're suppose to just cut and install a new connector. Also, I'd recommend paying more for them from a reputable source like a website that specializes in solar equipment.
Thanks, just what I needed to know. RUclips is great!
Thanks!
Works even better with a small screwdriver. In my case, the sleeve stayed inside.
pull soft and turn a lil bit right and left and the pin will come. dont need a needle.
Thanks mate, you saved my bacon. I crimped the negative pin on the positive cable and plugged it in. Doh!
Must have gotten jacked! The two different brands I purchased don't have those sleeves and I found out no matter how well you crimp them you can still pull out the wire 😤 Sick of this fake Chinese crap they're selling
could you do a video how to remove and disassemble it entirely?
Love how it settles into the nest it’s so heartwarming
Exactly what I needed to see. There's a nest in the bouganvillea arch just outside my kitchen window I noticed being built last week. And this week I see a tail sticking up out of it but no activity...now I understand it's the incubation period. Loved how the mockingbirds huddled during the storm. Great video!
Thanks for sharing! That's by far my favorite part...when they hunkered down during the storm.
Thank you for sharing this very helpful tip. I was so upset with myself for having made a wiring mistake. While others regurgitate that it's impossible to depin an MC4 solar connector, this method works perfectly, in seconds, just as you say. Fixed my mistake in no time. Saved the connector. Relieved much frustration!
On day 7 of adorable quad baby northern mockingbird- a mama and daddy are nearby always
Day 7 is absolutely amazing to see! Thanks for the comment!
Same here. Mom and Dad are never to far for to long.
Hello friend what Camera you are using to record 24 hours please let me know
It's a normal surveillance camera kit with an NVR. One meant for a house or business to overlook the property. I just zip tied one of the cameras to a pole that I hammered in the ground inside the bush.
Perfect! Exactly what I needed :) Thanks!
What happened to the last egg? 🥺
There is one egg that disappeared that we couldn't figure out. Maybe it broke and she quickly removed it from the nest. I was unable to watch every single second of footage to find out what happened. And the last and 4th egg just never hatched. When I removed it from the nest weeks later, it fell apart. Thanks for commenting!
Beautiful, I saw the whole video as i wanted to understand why my baby mocking birds that I rescued dissapear today and I could not find them. This video gives me hope that I might see them tomorrow in the garden , I just want to know they are alive and no cat ate them. Thank you for the video it is fabulous.
We thought the same thing when they left the nest. We were scared our cat got them. Thanks for commenting!
Same here too we had a baby mockingbird leave the nest and was trying to fly and then there was a storm and we haven’t seen him yet but I think he’s in the garden at my neighbors by the hostas
This Better than renogy tutorials
Thank you for that, i had just ordered 2 new connectors when i found your video, cancelled the order right away..
MOCKINGBIRD NESTING!!! ruclips.net/video/u9cjRKKZxZs/видео.html
Thank you for showing how the pin is fitted. If the pin is pushed using a 7mm drill shank and at the same time is turned at the crimp end of the pin with a thin blade of a suitable screwdriver, I used a letter opener, the sleeve and pin can be screwed out of the housing.
This is the way. It worked!
The pin is held in the housing by the barbed sleeve which can be screwed out of the housing by rotating the pin whilst applying pressure to the pin.
Thanks for the great video! Although this is a bit easier on the bench than on the top of the truck. ;-) As described in the video, I used a jam nut. I found a stainless steel 6mm x 1mm thread nut. I filed down one side to make it rough and then jammed that side up against the brass insert. I used a stainless steel nut hoping it would be harder and would help the roughened side of the nut grab on the insert. It worked perfectly, I just tightened it down firmly with a small ratchet wrench on each side and then the bolt unscrewed from the joined jam nut and insert easily. Note access is very tight with the crossbar on the truck, doing this did require a variety of sockets and small handles.
I'm glad this video helped. I made it because I couldn't find anything like it on the internet. I feel this jam nut method is the easiest thing to try before thinking about drilling and cutting anything. For me, I was easily able to remove the crossbar from the truck by hitting one side of it with my hand and took it out at an angle. Once on the bench, it made things easier. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for this video, I'll get mine sorted tomorrow now I know how.
