How to solve Vauxhall corsa E service ESC problem
Просмотров 65 тыс.4 года назад
Vauxhall Corsa E 1.4 service ESC and traction control problem. If the ESC light comes up on your corsa, change the part I’m showing you. Why this part triggers the service ESC I don’t know as it has nothing to do with it, but it works.

My fob stopped working and the whole car shut down, I couldn’t get her started for love nor money. If you want to remove the 3T remove the glove box and find the main control modual. If you have difficulty finding it, go to the red LED alarm light and trace the wire back. Once you find the modual, do as I said in the video but make notes as to how it’s wired in before you start disconnecting th...
BMW 5 series E60 front foglight bulb replacement

Sounds silly but I spent ages trying to work out how to change the bulb. So I stripped all the paneling down behind the wheel...... To find a water bottle. Don't bother, just do it exactly as I've shown and the bulb is a twist fit.
BMW 5 Series E39, Location of fuse 75 & 76 Heater blower

If your heater blower stops working you will go straight to the fuses. The heater blower is fuse 76, but its not on the fuse board. Quick easy way to find it.
Hi will this work for 1.2 corsa 2015 please? Same part?
@@longnguyen-zl8sf no idea bud, depends what’s wrong with yours. You will have to try it and find out.
Hello, would this work for 2015 corsa please? Same part ? Thanks for this video 👍
What is the name of the part, couldn't hear you.thanks
Did you get car started after that? Cheers
Yes I did. And she runs fine now.
Opel corsa-E 2017 1.4cc 90cv gasolina.
I got an insignia every week thr car stops starting up right after service esc message. I have to jump start to be able to drive again. 7 days later repeat. Ive been told to replace battery. That'll cost me over £200. Think ill give this a shot first. Anyway for me to get model number for insignia, or its the same?
Ok Vauxhalls are retarded, for some stupid reason they like to wire things like the electric windows into the power steering. Before you do anything I would check the alternator/ regulator to see if there is a good charge coming through. Then check the battery to see if it has dodgy sells. Failing that I would then go through the fuses one by one and look for a blown fuse or signs of a power drain. The service ESC light that flashes up is normally just a by product of the actual problem with the car. So before you go swapping parts look at your symptoms first. 👍
Your doing it the hard way, take off the wheel, remove the shroud and pull the cable is the easiest way without having to do all that, TRUST ME.
Interesting. Took mine to Vauxhall initially and they changed the ignition coil for a lot of money, didn't even do the spark plugs. It happened again 9 months later so i swapped in a new coil pack and changed the old knackered spark plugs, been fine for about 20k miles now. I think old plugs were making the coil work too hard and wearing it out. Never touched that bit you showed in the video but helpful to know for the future.
Just done this and the light has gone out thanks. Also replaced the 8 year old agm battery with a new one so all good😀
Unfortunately the 1997 e39 528 doesn't have a F76, at least ours doesn't. F75 is there all by its lonesome. While we had the dash out to replace the blower motor we had a full view of the fuse and relay box and F76 is definitely missing on this model year for some reason.
Hello, I have A question. I recently bought a opel corsa and it makes the same noice as your car. Is this normal for this brand ? I sounds so weird to think this ratteling is normal 😅
I think so, they have a timing chain and mine goes 'tat tat tat' when its idling. Think its just the guides/tensioners.
Pp
Yep, one on the way as I write. What a racket these things can make. No warning lights on the dash, or any faults codes though.
Will this part be same on corsa e vxr
Don’t know, check the part and see if it’s the same obviously
Bro, I have Opel corsa 2017 1.4l today I got message says Engine Power Is Reduced !!! What do you think ? Thanks
You need to plug it in and find out fella. It could be a number of things
whats it called
It's noted in the comments, read.
Thanks a lot also works on my Corsa E👍😊
took me four days to get the left latch open, right latch still wont open... left latch took pliers to broken cable from inside the drivers side of car, machete under the hood, pulled on cable after removing grill,, used a knife to slide left side, used handle release from front of car.. I dont know what worked but finally the left side seems to be up a inch or so, now the right one.. could take four more days
Just replaced on my 2018 corsa code still there, have also the engine manalight in too though, scan said running lean left bank I think, any ideas? Thanks. Just after a oil and filter change air filter cleaned out.
Hi if I was to start looking I would check the airflow meter first. Unplug it and see if that removes the problem. If not I would then check the O2 sensor, ten last check for air leaks on the vacuum pipes. Best I can come up with without seeing it bud.
@@Motorheadltd thankyou so much, they looked at the pipe seems fine no holes or cracks, the air sensor they looked at and again looked OK. It's so frustrating need it for work and I'm a driving instructor can't have fault lights on for test. Il try the other bits you said. Thanks again, honestly really appreciate it.
@@markpitman100 hiya, were you able to fix this. I'm in the same boat
Does it work for the Astra?
I have no idea, try it and find out. But if it does work then please comment to let others know. 👍
I do exactly like in your clip i push hard on the bonnet but still stuck .. what can i do ? Bc my cable it's broke ☹️
Yea I did the same thing he said and nothing happened
Worked like a charm! Thanks a lot!
I seem to be having this issue with my 2016 Astra, went to a garage and they plugged it in and said it was a problem with the ABS module and for a refurbish it was £600! Paid it, 1 year later and the last has come on again this morning!
Try the purge valve, for the sake of £20 what have you got to lose?
When the car leans around roundabout, the service esc light comes on. At idle and on drive there's an intermittent misfire. P0300 code came up. Any ideas what it can be?
The misfire, I would go for changing the coil pack as for the ESC I would check the wheel sensors and ABS rings.
Absolute legend my friend 🤟
What year Corsa was this problem? I have a 2016 with same issue?
2015
@@Motorheadltdhi my friend I don’t have sound from my speakers did you know how reset infotainment system
@@giannism7420 put the ignition on, turn on the head unit, then disconnect the battery. Wait 30 seconds the connect the battery back up again. Should sort it.
Can you post the link for that part please

Thanks sir
Just type the number in ebay, done.
Same thing happened to me- changing belt, pulleys, water pump lol Thanks for the guide.. perfect
I ended up using an old 7 iron golf club, I cut the head off and flattened the first 1inch of it with a hammer.. it worked perfectly. Great video
I have a problem with the ESU light on how does the purge valve relate to the ESU? Mine comes on after 1 min of being stationary will the purge valve do the trick? Thank you
How does anything relate to anything on a Vauxhall??? I learnt many years ago that when one part goes to the wall, the EML will relate to something that’s completely different. Example, on an Astra the electric power steering went to shit and it turned out to be the alternator???? All I know is with Vauxhall’s they put multiple parts on a ring electronic system. So you have to work out what else is on the ring that’s failed. That’s all I did here. So my question is, what has a purge valve got to do with the ESC??? The answer is absolutely nothing!!! But it’s on the electronic loop for it.
Spot on information 👌
Worked for me! Thanks 👍🏼
Does this help remove service esc and engine light cause have changed coil pack and plugs car drives fine no probs just light comes on
Yes It did remove the service ESC and the EML lights for me.
How long are your arms? You pulled down on the bonnet while pushing the tab with your other hand? 😅
Length of the screwdriver dickhead!
You an absolute lifesaver!! Thanks bud!
I had this problem and seems to have sorted it however it was coming on intermittently (been a couple of days and seems fine) thanks
Yeah same here bro
I have problem with my corsa 2015 90hp. 70 000 km (Only Opel certified garage maintenance revision) Around 800rpm to 1000 rpm I've stability rpm engine with ESC indicator on board computer ? Engine run with SP95 E10
I've got this problem. So I will try. Thanks for this 👍
How did you get on mate?
Is that the same on an m sport bumper? E60
I’ve got the same problem and i wanna disconect the alarm, its a bmw 3G mk1 alarm, actualy quiet similar to yours
Where did that black wire come from? Was it atached to the alarm? (The black one conected to the green wire)
If I remember correctly the green wire had to be run in behind the ignition barrel. I had to bridge it in. Just follow the wires and you will find where it connects. Good luck bud
My washing machine Work more quiet
What’s the name of the part you changed please ?for the ESC SERVICE
It was a purge valve.
Thanks
When you had the ESC problem u engine light was staying on as well ?
Tamaya Betances no it wasn’t. The service ESC message and the traction control light kept flashing up but no EML
Really appreciate this, helped my neighbours out massively when one of their two cables snapped. Took ten minutes following your clear instructions, thank you
I have proppably the same problem. Engine fault P0171 and C0242 , C0244 inform about problem with traction control/ abs. Why there are related I dont' know. Change PCV solved your problem in 100%? How found you the solution?
Your a geezer haha cheers bruva
Just having this exact problem on my E61 - your guide is by far the best I've seen and has given me the confidence to have a go tomorrow. Wish me luck !
BobT123 it really easy to do buddy. Just follow exactly what I’ve shown you. If it’s the other side of the car you are doing then you have to remove the air filter intake pipe but the rest is exactly the same. Good luck 👍
@@Motorheadltd Got the job done yesterday. - I had the luxury of a pit and so could get right under the car. I could see the latch, but the release tab was hidden by a hose (535d engine). A mate had a small airbag that we used to lift the bonnet slightly at the corner and then used bar with a 3cm at right angle ('a pick' I belive) at the end to push the tab towards the centre of the car. I could then see the tab from underneath and job was a good 'un. Cheers !
thanks so much after months of no AC fan this was the problem thanks again
Problem is other - why this fuse got blown
Is this a 2008?
Mike mesaros it should be the same on standard E60 models 2003 to 2009. Hope this helps
it's not, there is a housing wall on the earlier models that doesn't allow access through here
@@pacmanplaysgames1079 Yup I just tried it
That's all you need to do to remove the grill?
Carlos Rodas 😂😂😂😂
where can I buy these fuses?
