I've been seeing a pattern a lot: people really really good at a skill from dedicating hours and years to honing it are also really proficient at many other skills (for example, Tim is also good at pretty much every other instrument in a band). Learning a skill, and the discipline it requires, is a skill in itself that these people have. People like Tim just like learning. It makes me want to throw myself into every fucking skill that interests me >.<
