Posting from the ER tonight. After a great day at the market we ended up having to come to the hospital as my husband's adult special needs son was brought in by ambulance after a dangerous behavioral episode. He has been fighting and is slowly losing the battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, despite this last year of intensive chemotherapy treatments. Tonight's platelet count is 6 which is his new normal. We are spending more time in the hospital then at home over these last several weeks. 💔💔😥

This was a bit of a disaster being it's the first time I wrapped soaps on camera, and I seem to have forgotten how to do things because I was being recorded...I never waste this much plastic wrap when I wrap the soap. 🤔 Hope you enjoy anyway!

For clarification: I didn't finish my sentence when I said "We had to call..." We had to call for help after a few hours of this particular tantrum because he did end up escalating and became violent. (Throwing things, destroying the house. and attempting to come after us.) Often during autistic episodes or tantrums Jaymon will use many techniques to get a reaction or response, one of which is heard in this clip. He will say versions of things like, "Bring it on," or, "Come on MF, do you want to beat me up?" Additionally, as a dramatic attention seeking behavior he will often claim that, "you just want me to die," or "I'm going to just go die," when he thinks he's not getting his way. Also, Jaymon gets plenty of things that he wants as long as he is safe. As soon as he starts behaving violently or dangerously, our world shuts down and plans change. He has never ever been deprived of a meal over an episode because he is a critical diabetic. When things like this happen (which is often) and we are unsafe cook a full meal in the kitchen, he will then eat a homemade pre-prepared meal.

Just to clarify, Jaymon is allowed in the common areas of the house as long as he is safe. As soon as he starts a violent behavior, he is supposed to go to his room until he calms down and is safe again.

Once again, Jaymon was bounced back to our home , his care will require everything else to be put on hold until we can get some help with his case. Thanks to everyone for your support. ~Ray & Kim

Just wondering if Jaymon has a case worker assigned to him? Maybe a caseworker would have some pull in getting him housing. Also, have you checked with Pine rest in Grand Rapids? I’m sure you both have exhausted most of my questions, but I thought I’d throw it out there.

It is heartbreaking to see how worse Jaymon has gotten over the past few years. I pray he gets the proper treatment and placed in a secure home for his and everyone’s safety. ❤️

Sorry, I realized after watching this I'll need to work on reducing the number of times I say "ummm" and "you know." Lol

Community mental health is nothing but a joke. My brother is 32, I had to give up guardianship because they wouldn't help me with him. I put him in a AFC home, they suggested, that home had terrible bed bugs! I pulled him out of that house within 10 days.

Have you ever had him saliva cotton swob tested. I know lots of insurance don't pay for it but it saved my sisters sanity with her son and her ADHD son. I subscribed and will be waiting for more. I think Mibbleton is on vacation this week. I understand your pain, my son is autistic and some days are worse then others.

I know this is a long video, we will make a series of shorter ones telling the complete story. We need eyes on this so we can get help. The mental health system is broken and my step son ended up injuring me and put me in the hospital a few weeks ago and they still refused to place him in a proper care facility. #breakthesilence #domesticviolence #autismawareness
