PLEASE learn how to bottle feed a kitten! Kittens lie on their stomachs to feed-not on their backs. Feeding them incorrectly on their back can force formula into their lungs and kill them. Do your research!

It's better not to feed the kitten when it's lying on its back. Try to feed it in the same position it would feed from its mother.

hi to anyone reading the comments section! i just want to explain (because there’s so many of you guys mentioning that we adopted the kitten to young, etc) WE KNOW. kitten’s mommy went through surgery after giving birth and does not recognise her babies anymore. the person who was taking care of the mommy and kittens had too many other cats at home and was looking for forever homes for the kittens because he did not want to be an irresponsible cat owner. yes, we don’t know much about how to properly feed the kitten, about the colour of the eyes, and so much more, but WE ARE STILL LEARNING. of course i won’t show you every step of the way in this video. just an update, we have confirmed that kitten is in fact female after going to the vet, which they stated that kitten is healthy and her personality is very cheerful and outgoing. thank you for reading this far. please do not assume and spread negativity around here. i will gladly take your advice if you’re nice and kind about it. thank you <3

That poor kitten is too young to be away from its mother. Adoptions should never take place before eight weeks. And its eyes are blue because ALL kittens have blue eyes for the first six weeks of their lives. This is just more proof that you've taken it from its mother too soon. And if something happened to its mother, a surrogate nursing mother should have been found.

Never lay a kitten on her back while bottle feeding! !!
