Where do you keep finding these things ? Lol. I find one about every 10 years or so. You are finding one every week. What all do ya know about the engine ? Heads, mains , year , exc.
Hey Phil market place on Facebook has so many engines for sale I enjoy my hobby of researching about cars shop manuals are your best information I see alot of motors down your way cheap
@@waynedavidson2691 Silly me, I've been looking in barns. But that's because most of the ones that I find advertised for sale , guys are wanting too much for them. Or, I'm just that damn cheap.
I must have missed some videos on this car.
Fun car to drive its been around
Cool 😎 pair of Chevys! I particularly like the 40! Gramps vs Grandson 😅. Is it the camera angle or does this racetrack defy gravity? 😅
Hey Matt there is a bridge over the burn out box The 40 Chevy is me and my brother in-law drivers the Camaro
looks like a blast!
Hey Matt yes good times
The " Wayne cam "
That hilarious 😆
The two of ya got to run side by side huh ? Well, almost side by side.
Hey Phil yes we had a blast almost didn't have enough gas to get home we went down the strip so much
@@waynedavidson2691 Fun time .
Great video everyone looks like there having fun
My first drag and drive I was amazed the hole time
looks like it was a fun weekend!
my ford 4.6 stacked some bearings, gota do what i gota do,, i sanded the crank with some emry and a shoe lace and stuck some slightly used rod bearings in and truck is back on the road, for now hope i get a couple years out of it,
Yes if it works out great idea
Kinda like dating as a teenager. Spend a couple of days trying to do something that's going to be over in 15 seconds.
Grudge match ?
Another race ?
Yes
3 altogether
Sunday morning ?
@@phillipthethird42 yeah it started Thursday night for us camping and ended Saturday afternoon
Did you mention what track you are at ?
Hey Phil this was Grand Bend
@@waynedavidson2691 I don't know where that is at. What state is it ?
@@phillipthethird42 Ontario Canada
@@waynedavidson2691 That explains it. I'm in Florida.
Nice .
I call that " Dingle Ball " honing.
Yep, I've only see this once in my whole life , and I was just a kid about 10 or 11. I lived in the mid west out in the corn fields, and a balloon landed about 1000 ft away from my house. It was late October and the corn had already been picked and the stalks ground up.
I'm seeing your videos out of order but it's still all good. Tha last one that I saw was the old Chevy going down the track ...
I think this is the first time I've seen the old Chevy run. Goes pretty good for a street car. Certainly better than how it ran from the factory.
That's an annoying sound. And I don't mean Wayne.
Already ready all ready !
Looks like fun. Any hot dogs or hamburgers ?
Looks like fun. Are ya staying the entire weekend?
Hey Phil oh yeah 👍
@@waynedavidson2691 Have fun. Get some of it on video.
I also fly cut chamber to unshroud big valves and roll deck surface from chamber 😊
Things that make ya go " Hmmm"
I love the idea
That is a beautiful car. Well done sir!
Thanks 👍
I've seen numerous oil pump mounting bolts pull the threads out of the rear main end cap when torquing the oil pump down to specification !
High compression with mild camshaft don't make any sense 🤔 !
Equivalent to make more torque bottom end with no top end power a fun truck motor
Yep, looks good . Did ya happen to measure the bore before and after to see how much it took to clean up ? Just curious. P.S. Richard is still sitting under the oak tree . Lol.
Hey Phil I did check when I got the motor to see if it was over 3.99 I will check again when I put the new pistons in
No, not boring. I watched the whole 9 + minutes.
I think I'll call my Chevy 350 , Richard. After the old guy that owed it before me. I got it from his widow.
F*** Yeah
I think I might have mentioned that mine too is a .030 over 4 bolt , 3890010 block. W/ a cast date '74. What year is that one ? Also, great song selection.
What's he doing ?
Cleaning up a block with a wire wheel
Yep, sounds healthy.
Hey Phil Yea it does sound nice
@@waynedavidson2691 👍
...and they look good.
He certainly cut the light. That was a good reaction time.
Hey Phil yes you should leave on the last full yellow light on the tree
Congrats , you're now a member of the 100mph club. Lol
That's what it's all about. Just having fun.
Hey Phil yes it is
Question ; can I put a one piece rear main seal in an engine that originally had a 2 piece ...?
Hey Phil the crankshaft end is different for the one piece vs the two piece
@@waynedavidson2691 Ok, thanks. I'n not going to change the crank, so, I'll just deal with what I have.
i have 2 sets of camel humps 461 and set 461x
Your " black engine" sounds like what I have going on with mine. Lots of idle hours and never changing the oil. Have you seen my videos on it ?
Yes seen your video no oil change I think makes a dirty motor
I have one of those.
Hey Phil 👋
@@waynedavidson2691 Hello Wayne , yes, my project is on hold for right now. I'd love to finish it off.
Nice 0010 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks ✌
Looks great good luck with the build!!
Thanks 👍
That's the same with my 010 block w/4 bolts...just really dirty , otherwise still good.
Hey Phil how the moving going.yes clean everything up check your parts
@@waynedavidson2691 The sale of the property deal that I had with a guy fell through.but the property is still on the market, and now I do have a little more time to do some of the work that needs to get done. So, maybe I CAN get back on the small block.
Where's my 5/8 Socket?
Definitely not camel humps. They look like small port heads used on the 307 & 350.
Was watching ,and noticed my shifter moving after I dropped it in nutreal.! Had Wayne check it out .he found both rear trany mount bolts were loose.the power of video!!!
