PS5 Pro Setup with Disc Drive + NVMe M.2 + Stand
Note: Audio in portions of video can be louder or softer depending on distance from mic. Chapters labeled as such.
In this video I do full PS5 Pro setup using time saver trick to migrate game data from PS5 to PS5 pro that avoids having to do data transfer or redownload of large amount of games.
This tutorial maximizes use of NVMe (ps5 games) and external storage (PS4 games)
I also show complete process of removing nvme from old PS5 and adding to new PS5 as well as setting up disc drive and new stand.

I can understand that. a lot of setup at least will be same. If you add disc drive or stand for example. Or if you want to transfer games using storage vs console to console transfer.

Version 1.3 with the only positive is it being a new console with impossible noticeable differences in graphics you wasted $ big time you only get it if your system breaks shame on you on not spending 1 grand on necessities
Two things. 1. I'm a content creator, this is a necessity. 2. Because of number 1, it's also a tax writeoff
One question...can i backup my game to external ssd..and the just transfer back into my new console?.. because transfer via connecting two console is take so much time..><
That's precisely why I did it the way i did it. and yes external can backup PS5 games as well, they just won't play from that until moved back to internal storage on PS5 pro. Note though that backup on an external will be slower than backup on a much faster nvme since drive speed MUCH lower. depending on number of games that may be slow too. What I did was only fast cause I went from super vast storage to super fast storage (and PS4 games were already on external storage so no movement needed). But it may still be faster than console transfer.

Thanks. It's been great for some under performing games. even Unpatched ones like FF16 performance mode now actually hits target 60 far more often and usually at a higher dynamic resolution than base PS5. and PSSR has been fantastic for rebirth and other games.

Bro I really love your content 💯 much love from Here in South Africa in Johannesburg we only gonna get the ps5 pro at 13 december 2024 at $1080 which is just madness for me.
It's expensive but all the tech experts who were like "you can build a PC that can do what it does for same price" tried it and actually failed. PS5 pro is quite powerful for it's price point. I've already played a few games on it and it's made a difference. Only poorly optimized games can't run at 4k/60 at this point thanks to upscaling tech.
On the fence about whether or not you should get a PS5 Pro? My Advice, if you have a solid PC probably don't need to unless you just prefer gaming on console. If you have further questions, please post them in comments Additional Context: - I skipped PS5 to PS5 Pro transfer by maximizing usage of internal and external storage. If this isn't an option. Your setup will be mostly same except you won't skip console transfer (but that can take a VERY long time). - I had a funny blooper in video I tried to edit out as best I can but basically I forgot to put the NVMe storage plate back on for the PS5 Pro so you get to see end of that blooper at least. - That cool painting over bed was like 10 dollars at a dollar store, but it adds a lot to the room doesn't it? :D
I thought Battlenet doesnt launch anymore with crossover? Does it work again? Can I install Crossover and Install Diablo 4? I only find outdated info from last year online
it requires fix from 24.0.4 or later i believe. it doesn't launch with whisky cause it lacks the fix
@@MysticalOS_Tech yeah actually I downloaded crossover 24. Battlnet is fixed! :-) Diablo 4 is running on my MacBook Air M2
I would have hoped that whisky fixed it by now
I've heard from some users this fix isn't needed. but for others it was. I suspect it has to do with version of crossover you're running or if you are using an old bottle vs a more recent one that's been "upgraded" a few times. Also, not featured in video is that this game does require D3DMetal and Esync or MSync to run at it's best.

Hi. I am playing with Crossover linked to my Steam Account. Since updating to VoH the game will not open. I tried your arg but that hasn't worked. Do you have any other tips? "The application encountered an unexpected error" Then it gives me a support ID for Blizzard but they're not coming back to me.

Got this from crossover support and it worked… Thanks for reaching out to us with your issue. This is a known issue that we see as critical and we are working on a proper fix. In the meantime we do have a workaround. If you enable D3DMetal and ESync in the Advanced Settings of the bottle, Diablo IV should be able to launch and run properly.
@@terenceford8933 Those are just a given. but I should have mentioned in video that it needs D3DMetal, esync or msync also improve performance on bnet. but i think msync can make steam act up a little so they recommend esync instead there.
