Alguien sabe si no hay limitaciones de altura para volar un drone en Guatemala
Si hay cerca del aeropuerto y creo solo con cierto permiso se puede volar más cerca. Yo volé a distancia y use el Zoom para acercar la vista. En centro histórico está permitido volar a 60m de altura. Los DJI drones no vuelan en ciertas áreas

En Quetzaltenango, Santa Cruz del Quiché, y Zacapa los DJI no vuelan. Solo a las Orillas pero si compras un dron de otra marca no hay problema. Los drones Autel, Fimi y Husban no tienen restricciones y son más baratos y de buena calidad

Amazing video! Can we just take our drone to Guatemala without registration? I want to take my Mavic 3, but have concerns for airport and registrations.
How did you take your drone to Guatemala? I filled out the form and requested for registration but they never answered me. Can I just take with me?
I just pack them in my carry on with other recording devices. Actually 2 drones. I do have a license for over 250 grams like the Air 3, but no one ever asked me anything so you should be okay to bring it
@@canadatravel65 Thank you. I do have drone pilot certificate from FAA. But by license you mean a drone pilot license? Or something that you obtained in Guatemala? If yes, would you please guide me, how can I get it?
@sahmadi6659 yes a drone pilot from Canada. I also have the Trust certificate that’s only from the US when I flew in Alaska. Anyways in Guatemala they never ask as long is not too close to the airport. You don’t need anything else there. But if you fly inside a pay park or a private subdivision then you have to ask permission locally. You should be ok

What drone did you use? Are there restrictions because of the nearby airport? Its ok to fly in with a Drone to Guatemala City? I´ve seen people getting in trouble for flying there. Please share your experience. Tks
This part of the city could fly at 60m only a bit far from airport. No problems bringing up to 3 drones. I used a mini drone, the Zino mini pro. DJI will not fly in Zone 14 only from Starbucks El Mirador towards Vista Hermosa Zone 15. Historic Center you can fly 60 m high, in other areas it’s fine. Any drone with geofence is hard to fly in those a areas
