This video takes us over the recently paved Cottonwood Pass, Colorado. One of the highest paved roads in Colorado at 12,126 Feet. Then, we roll on to Gunnison, Colorado, where we eat dinner at one of our favorites, The Ol Miner's Steakhouse.

This video takes us over Monarch Pass and on to San Luis, Colorado where we visit the Capilla de Todos Los Santos - Shrine of the Stations of the Cross. Then a brief stop in Red River, New Mexico and on towards home.

Video 5 of our "Okies on the Moki" trip takes us through the scenic Rocky Mountain National Park and by Grand Lake and Lake Granby. Then, on to Leadville, CO, where we had lunch in the Legendary Silver Dollar Saloon. After a quick battery replacement, we were back on the road, heading towards the recently paved Cottonwood Pass, the highest paved pass in Colorado.

In this video we ride Colorado's Silver Thread Scenic Byway. One of the most diverse and beautiful rides in America. From the Blue Mesa Reservoir, two mountain passes, a high mountain valley waterfall, two historic mountain mining towns, a ride through both the Gunnison and Rio Grande River Canyons, and incredible mountain vistas, the road is simply extraordinary. A Bikers dream.

In this video, we leave gorgeous Utah and travel to equally gorgeous Colorado. We stop in Gunnison, for the night. But, not first without fighting the bike through around 10 miles of road construction between Montrose and Gunnison. Fortunately, the rain wasn't heavy.

Great video of great rides. Lots of beautiful country that many never see.Seen some of those places myself, back in 65 on a trip from LA to Chicago, by car with another discharged shipmate. He went on to Lake Champlain NY. Wife and i visited Mt Rushmore, been to Yellowstone, Battle of the Greasy Grass site, and I've driven sections of Route 66.
