in 2013 you could have bought as many houses as wanted down here I bought one for 55 and then another one for $85 they were all over the place now those houses are $350 eachI did the same thing in Colorado in 2013 I called them winning lottery tickets

Hey Len, you might find this interesting: I grew up in Sedona. Went to Sedona Red Rock High from 2002 - 2006. In 8th grade, I started golfing because my mom signed me up for some lessons at the Golf Resort- she worked in HR at the Hilton right next door. I joined the high school golf team, and wow, the perks for being on that team were ridiculous - we had open access after school to the Sedona Golf Resort, Oak Creek Country Club, Seven Canyons and - you guessed it - Canyon Mesa. This 9 hole course is an absolute diamond of a location - the scenery, environment, houses, wildlife, course layout... it's a very special place and perfect for practicing the shorter game. Later on, my mom was hired as HRM at Seven Canyons, and through her I even worked part time there during high school. Even though I had access to these three 18 hole golf courses, I played Canyon Mesa just as often - that executive course feels like more of a secret and serene place than the other big 3. I've since moved oversees to Europe with my wife, and while I overall enjoy living here more, it's not a "cut and dry" situation. I still look at Sedona very fondly as such a special, magestic place (including the oak creek canyon and flagstaff). Thanks for the overview of Canyon Mesa!

Apache Junction was always the worst place to live in until now. Crazy housing prices now make AJ look good.

A one bedroom condo with one bathroom for $170k is too expensive I live in a condo in the Midwest that has 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms plus a pool, huge deck, patio, finished off basement with my own washer & dryer for $150,000 go figure AZ is insanely expensive & not worth it I only have about 10 stairs but there are condos on the first floor & some with elevators that are 2 bedroom & 2 bathrooms that are less than $170k makes me appreciate the Midwest even more oh & guess what? We don't have a homeless problem like you guys either maybe because all our homes are more affordable & the jobs pay more too Arizona is overpriced no matter what city you move to there plus it's boring as hell & I'd want to move my own things in there too I don't like using someone else's furniture yuck.
