It weird when Perodua able to rebadge a car and still got buyer, while people shit on proton doing the same. It's a car with a modern structure, it's just that the structural materials are terrible. I don't know the specifics, but I'm guessing based on the IIHS rating system, the structure would get a poor rating. Additionally, I believe the dummy's head penetrated the bag and touched the steering wheel due to the upward movement of the steering column. The driver will suffer broken legs and possible internal injuries.

The Daihatsu Sigra uses the 2015-2020 set of regs If it were tested today I'd bet it scored not only 0 star, but a literal 0 in frontal and side, as they did not score the side impact test, just the fact the document exist counts. Plus if you read the report. The driver's head would've sustained a serious Injury in an event of a crash. And the front knee of both the driver and the passenger hit the dashboard. And a star for No Isofix, no Front Headrest. 1 star is a joke. Should've gone with 0 imo.
