    4:13 😮 Wow, someone ACTUALLY mentioned the age and progression factor for once! Dozens of pods, old and new, player and analyst, noone mentioned this huge factor included in the cavs getting and looking better. Noone but you and Pesta! Yes new coach and style huge. Chemistry and time together, important. Health huge. Bench and pieces major. Then theyre like "but it's the same team basically, what is happening?!"... Well yeaaa, the core and stars are young! They range from not even in their prime to barely scratching the surface of their prime. Athletes/Pro athletes progress, especially serious, elite ones like Mobley, Garland, Mitchell, Okoro, etc. It's natural and expected. Combine that along with all the other factors mentioned before, small and large, and you get a team making huge strides. Been a competitive juco hoophead and Cavs fan for decades and I respect y'all just for the thoughtful discussion, funny ribbing, and respect given to your opponent. This respect is very apparent given your choice of guests. Liked and y'all now have a new sub 😉🤙🏽 Good luck tonight and this season!

  • @somedudeontwitterstalkedme3829
    @somedudeontwitterstalkedme3829 23 часа назад

    I guess Golden State is not a challenge? okay I still don't think people get it and that is fine. The Cavs are a developmental Orgnaization it was shown when they had Lebron for his longest tenure and all they could eek out was 1 Championship. Cleveland is not getting Free Agents to come there, they have to build from within. Evan Mobley is our Championship window, Spida just opened it up earlier. The Cavs will be at their best, when they go to an 11 man rotation with no one playing under 10 mins and no one over 30, they will play with pace, the ball will be in constant motion, players will be making constant cuts, so the malaise of an NBA season where teams mostly run the "pick and roll" with 3 dudes just standing around is not going to happen with Cleveland. The fact that Cleveland has depth, means guys will get rest and the team will still be able to compete (Charlotte - Spida nap) We also have *Jersey Shore* and he is slowly playing himself in shape and when Struss gets back he can cover wings, has a shooter's touch and a motor Cavs are going to have to change how they play, they are not a top heavy 8-man squad, if they play that way, they will lose to Boston, NY, Bucks, Philly and Orlando. Cavs have to use their strength and that is the fact they are a swiss army knive with a Unicorn named Mobley and an Elite player in Spida who have bought into the process of playing team first ball. If Cavs play 10 guys at least 10 mins tongiht they win, if they go 8, with the 9th guy only getting 5 mins they will lose

    Mazzula and Brown really had me convinced this summer that this team wasn't going to fall into the post-championship malaise trap. Unfortunately, I was wrong. They are sleepwalking through most of these games. Especially Tatum, who is right back to being a stats hunter. I was really hoping to be watching a bunch of killers to start this season, but they are fat and happy to play hard for 10 mins a game, and hope their talent will win in the end. That is what is boring about watching thwn so far. Not the 3s. It's the lackadaisical effort for 30 mins a game from, mostly, Tatum, and to a slightly lesser extent Jrue, JB, and White.

    Yea I’ve always said pep’s shud defend shots like Shane Battier where he put a hand in ur face rather thn goin for a block. Blocks are ok but it’s not good defense goin for a block unless u time the shot and hve the athleticism and agility to mke the play, but the best defense imo is always putting ur hand in someone’s face because to me ur always gonna be closer to the face thn u are their shooting hand.

    Last year Tatum and JB were averaging about 7 to 9 three-pointers a game. That’s the perfect amount for this team. They need Tatum driving shooting and passing not shooting threes. This game was a thing of beauty and this is what I was talking about when I was saying they haven’t been playing good this is playing good, when they move the ball when everyone gets almost equal shot when they work in and then out, but they’ve been getting lazy and just trying to shoot over defenses. But this game was phenomenal. Loved their processing in this game.
