Omg! You are back in SF. I'm glad you are going to be with your friends soon for a trip and a wedding. Miss you. My take on this state of being, is similar to mourning. Read a book once... do exactly what you love. Do not isolate yourself. Go to cafes and sit just to be around people. I also think it's important to live in an area in SF that has your "vibe". Nature is healing, but sometimes we need to be around people! I started to go to art shows and meeting people when Iwas in a funk. Coming back to SF is a big change. I did feel the same way, after staying abroad for awhile. Love your art book you are making. I think you are an artist! Love you.

Two of my siblings are getting married this year and I totally get what you're going through!! It's hard to feel like you're losing them/your relationship with them is changing. Of course, there is so much joy that comes with seeing them so happy with the person they love (and gaining a bonus sibling), but change can still hurt. Don't feel guilty about feeling allll the emotions <3

Hi Emma your video came across my recommended page and I think it’s for a reason so here goes ❤ I don’t want to make this about me, but to share some insight with you. This has been the most challenging year of my life. Not to get into too many details, but a lot of the relationships I thought would be permanent have collapsed. I’ve experienced so many hurts this year. What keeps me going is not trying to change the past but pouring all of my energy into building the future. We have to accept that people will fade away sometimes abruptly. Through healing and forgiveness, I was able to let them go through grace. When you are brave enough to release the past, you allow new things to come into your life. One thing I’ve also noticed is no one is coming to save us. Everyone has their cross to bear and we are responsible for the life we want to create. Allow yourself to feel hurt, cry, get upset and mourn the things that once were. I promise the other side is so beautiful. Do not think of this chapter in your life as an end but rather small beginnings. Read Jeremiah 29:11 and remember the Lord doesn’t leave us. I am rooting for you ❤

I work with college students sort of like a mentor/coach and man, the amount of times I've had this talk with students as their approaching their junior/senior year! Change is good, but scary for sure -- it's just a sign that you're evolving into a new YOU. So proud that you opened up about how you're feeling, it's not easy at all. Keep feeling what you need to feel and keep pushing, you're doing amazing :) Good luck in Copenhagen!

These next steps might seem hard but just take it step by step. I will be praying for you. You can always trust in the Lord to help you though this as well.
