im about to get the stage 2,s from them how did yours hold up ive heard a lot of mixed opinions
Did you change reluctor wheel and cam gear to 24t/1x? What ecu are you running?
Yes; no converter box on this one. Running stock ecu/harness with HP Tuners.
Now get that .84 exhaust housing so that turbo comes on quicker. Makes a huge difference.. it also lowered my egt 100 degree.. and sounds like a jet. Lol
clickbait😤
That thing sounds awesome

around how much would u say this cost ? i wanna do the same to my z71 cateye 04
If you have engine/trans already, under $4k with a terminator X and all supporting parts for the swap. Look into dirty dingo mounts and start learning tuning 👍
Cammed or stock ?
Aluminum LS3 with TSP MS3 cam and titanium headers
😎
Tu dépasse trop la limite de compte tour et ceux qui ne pas bon pour le moteur
La moteur c’est bon- le haut du moteur (les ressorts de soupapes, et le abre à cames) est ont été améliorés. 👍
Pssy uou let off at like 90 bro you literally need to be driving a Prius 😂
some people cherish their life and vehicle
You have never driven and will never own a car like this stfu kid.
Yes but then its not a 0-60 video... @@lordhelmetbro
What a bozo comment
Some people aren’t dumb
Oh ya!
Does anyone realize that the piston's speed of travel inside the cylinders increase above 37% with that much increase to engine crank shaft stroke 🤫
Using the formula for piston speed: Mean Piston Speed (fpm)=(Stroke x 2 x RPM)/12; We can plug in the stock stroke of 3.622 in and receive a piston speed value of 3,924 ft/min. Then we plug in the stroker crank shaft’s stroke of 4.00 in into the piston speed formula and get a value of 4,333 ft/min. Now, comparing these values we come up with a percent difference of 9.90675% - a value nowhere near 37%. In fact, Chevy themselves thinks a 4.000 in stroke crank is just dandy for the ls platform with their 427 ci LS7. Regardless, the increase in piston speed can be made up for with better quality materials, lighter weight forged pistons, good machining, and many, many other ways. This engine and truck are 💯 still a pos tho Thank you for watching and commenting :)
@@dankplecostomus Well done !
Thank you. ❤️🎈
The gas gauge doubles as a tach
No keys??
The original ignition cylinder was broken and I needed to get it going in a weekend so there is a cheap replacement from autozone hidden under the dash- don’t tell anybody though, that’s my anti-theft lol
Where's all those rice burners that think they can't lose now?
Healthy stream there buddy. 👍🏻

Nice
ITS DANDYYYY
And I thought me having snakes and tarantulas was crazy
Currently my gf and I have two ball pythons and in the past I had an ORNERY golden blue leg baboon lol Cheers!
@@dankplecostomushow big is your tank
@Tony-qy1ot The one in the video is an odd sized ~110 with a 3ft front to back- they’re currently in a ~375. The largest front to back possible is important so they can turn around and avoid hurting their noses bumping into things.
Perfect form 😂😂😂
Auto trans?
Yessir and no, it won’t hold up to the power in stock form
Sounds good how much horsepower does it have
Engine came out of an ‘06 TBSS AWD- in that vehicle with a smaller tb and different oil pan it made ~420hp to the wheels. It’s low compression; built for boost but runs damn good naturally aspirated.
That looks so much like my 1979 that was stolen. I know many look a like, just always wonder if I will see mine on youtube someday.
This one’s a 1978- bought it from a local family friend. Today for the first time since 2005 it drove by the ditch that it rolled twice in… on all fours at that! Lol
@@dankplecostomus Best vehicle I ever owned, I wish you the best of luck with yours.
Best truck ever made.
Is it 2wd
4WD and soon I’m going to upgrade the chain driven transfer case to a NP205 and shifter from off-road design.
My dad had 6 or 7 k5s and I always wanted to make 1 2wd still do but for now I'll just stick with my 2 door 2wd S10 blazer's love them all
Very tough shit keep up the good work
My favorite vehicle of all time!
Sounds great! My 73 K10 has a 502 Ramjet swap
Nice
U just messed up the rest of the hood. Lol 😂
I did body work professionally for like 2 years trust me it’s mint 👌

Not yet, but it is necessary. Truck broke again- has a blown head gasket now lol
Ha! I didn't expect that. Bravo..!
Sir is the truck for sale
Would love too see more
Anymore videos on this beast?
Not at the moment unfortunately. It’s sitting for now waiting for a refresh. It’ll be back eventually!
@@dankplecostomus I was expecting you to say you sold it, glad to hear you still have it. There's a 55 f600 with the 223 been sitting that I want to buy, it's yellow but inside the cab and under the paint you can see it was olive green and it has property of us military with military numbers still on some spots, would be cool to find out it's history

What kind of starter you got in that truck
It’s a Powermaster 9051. The original starter actually broke one of its mounting points.
