Wow, awesome video bro, even though it's been 6 years ago since you did this or you posted this video on RUclips.What a hell of a steel for the price you paid for that gem, I too came up with a 2001 Cabrio convertible. Just like yours that I bought for my son for his future graduation. As a project, gotta do some replacements. Of course, I paid 700 for mine. Gotta replace the top, I've already replaced a brand new catalytic brand new muffler. New water pump new engine belt and the car runs great. I'm not gonna do anything too crazy about it. Just update some nice rims to it all the way around stereo. I already have a 12.1 screen for it that I bought. An alarm for it as well, Just try to make it look nice like I see some of them on youtube that are well taking care of👌👏👍✌️👏👍👍💯

My 02 cabrio has issues but its fun, drives like a Porsche on rails. But it gets over 30 mpg, and that heat will roast my feet and legs, with the top down, at 9k ft in elevation at night. Its awesome.

How did these compare to the rubber oem ones?

It's been 3 years. Last we spoke I basically built the R32 from scratch, need to get an OEM engine harness, figure out how to get the vacuum pipes and SAI done and paint the front bumper. If you have time to do a call and maybe assist with how the vacuum lines go that would be cool, it is your fault after all that I took a 1.6 and made it an R32 all from parts. Been having headache after headache, so came back just to watch videos here again to get me going again as it's just been a mission getting parts for something South Africa never had. Sourcing from all over the world and saw that there has since been a new video uploaded haha. Is this the new house and Garage you last spoke about? Hope it's been going good that side.

I have a very small clunking sound when hitting a bump or doing slow parking maneuvers only. Happens once in a while but it’s annoying when it does so I just need to possibly retorque?? I’ve driven on the new spring for about 250 miles.
