I never got to play Fortnite as off to i didn't have a very good phone or even a pc qnd also i did not know it was free(i thought you had to pay) In fact my biggest regret is not knowing Fortnite was free altho i do remember when everyone in they're grandma was tryna get a W it was honestly amazing and all i have to say is thanks to Donald mustard, epic games (2017-2019) for making my life sp full of happy memories of this game❤

Imagine we come back to chapter 1 but everything is in ruins, instead of the alternate universe we went to where it was completely fine, what if we went to one where POI's are abandoned, half the map flooded, scars of the blackhole sucking the map into the void, The real chapter 1.

I feel like the game wasn’t “ruined” by just epic games, but also the players themselves. Back in the days it was fun because rarely any player was trying hard. Fortnite was a game you could play simply to hang out with friends, relax, and have *fun.* Some people started to get better at the game, no big deal. But a handful of those players also chose to flex, or be toxic. There were a couple rotten apples here and there, but in 2024.. they’re everywhere. Not to mention hackers, and teamers played a big role when it came to Fortnite not being fun. That combined with the unwanted changes from Epic Games, just to make their game more “suitable” for competitive. Now if we have something fun pro players are bothered by it, while most regular players enjoy. Then Epic changes it to fit the likings of *competitive.* Now regular players are unhappy. Or Epic Games just simply doesn’t bother to listen to the player base, being money hungry. Chapter Two: Remix is a great example. While it’s sort of fun, it isn’t the same. Advertisements everywhere. The Doggpound, Spaghetti Grotto, and then the shark being replaced by ice spice of all people. Collab after collab, sure festival might be a little fun. But LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing were just overstepping it. Chapter One coming back could fix it, but knowing the players they’ll just complain again. And again, because they’re almost never happy with Fortnite nowadays. Fortnite will never be the same, and we know that.
