Este pueblo tan pintoresco de la Alpujarra lo visité con algunos de mi grupo de senderismo el viernes, 26 de abril porque nos alojamos en una casa rural en Pitres para disfrutar del fin de semana allí y hacer rutas. Primero visitamos la cueva del Ojo de la Bruja y el puente encantado y después aparcamos más cerca del pueblo para ver todas las figuras encantadas como brujas, calderos mágicos, arañas, serpientes, la casa de Hansel y Gretel y la casa de Baba Yaga. Bellísima, en la zona del Tapon, que es el centro, hwy mejor infraestructura, duchas, este año si hay tumbonas, pero según avanzas hacía el Coto de Doñada, hay un buen tramo de playa. Sin duchas, lavables y x supuesto tumbonas

Hi, how windy is it there during the summer?
it depends on the day! In general it is windy in the ocean, but there are 2 types if the wind. The wind "Levante" is more uncomfortable, you can´t stay at the beach.

This place looks dreadful. Decades ago it must have been a small and charming fishing village. Now a chain of artificial beaches held in place by large boulders. The water seems nice though.
