"Who are all these smiley people?"
Lovely to see you again. Bernard.
I was an alter boy there in about 1963.......I remember helping to raise the funds to build the church hall. Later I helped form the first scout troop in Wexham. My sister and uncle were married there. Some very fond memories......however it was here that I first realised that religions and particularly Christianity are superstitious clap trap. Mind you I`ll be the first to admit that there's practically nothing that can replace the great social work you do. I wish you well in these courageous endeavours . (Great to see that the Wonderfull carved eagle lecturn is still in place)
Thank you for such a thoughtful, balanced comment. If you live locally and would like to see inside the church again, please let me know and I can arrange for it to be open (and I won’t try any superstitious clap trap on you).
A great job done. and it looks really good - well done to all involved.
