Bueno lo primero es que Funny Moments no se hace responsable de los cambios que realices en tu equipo a partir de la información que se te facilita, ya que ésta es simplemente orientativa y por tanto, no nos hacemos responsables de las consecuencias que puedan derivarse de la puesta en práctica de dichos cambios. Dicho esto, te puedo contar una historia parecida a tu problema. Recuerdo un coche que probamos hace mucho tiempo con un problema de configuración de la palanca de cambios. El coche venía configurado por defecto para cambio secuencial (Paddles) y no manual (H). De modo que cuando utilizábamos el cambio manual el coche ni se movía ni le entraban las marchas. Estos son los pasos que seguimos para resolver nuestro problema: 1- Volvimos a configurar la palanca de cambios en el propio juego de Assetto Corsa (hay tutoriales en RUclips). En nuestro caso, no fue suficiente. 2- Como usuarios de Content Manager, aplicación complementaria de Assetto Corsa pero con configuración propia, reconfiguramos los controles del cambio: Opciones (Settings) + Assetto Corsa + Controles (dispones de videos en RUclips). Tampoco, fue suficiente. Descartada la opción de la configuración de la palanca de cambios, el problema lo localizamos en el propio coche. 3- El coche no estaba encriptado y con la autorización del autor (un compañero nuestro), abrimos la carpeta del mod + carpeta "data" + archivo "drivetrain.ini", buscamos el parámetro "SUPPORTS_SHIFTER" y modificamos su valor. Sus valores son "0" para cambio secuencial y "1" para manual. Ahora, sí resolvimos el problema. Modificamos la configuración de AC, CT y el valor del parámetro para usar el cambio manual. En unos casos con una simple reconfiguración de la palanca de cambios (puntos 1 y 2) es suficiente porque a veces el conflicto viene dado por una configuración diferente en ambas aplicaciones, pero en otros casos además, hay que acceder al propio vehículo. Y hasta aquí nuestra historia de terror del día de hoy. Nos vemos en la siguiente curva!!!

Por cierto, en el caso concreto de este coche Citroen Saxo Cup MK2 (2000), no subiremos más videos hasta que se actualice debido a los fallos que nos genera con las nuevas versiones de Content Manager. Hemos optado por sustituirlo, con mejores físicas y skins, se trata de un Citroen Saxo Cup VTS (1998) "ruclips.net/video/JKwP9Bt4z30/видео.html". Espero, que te guste.

HI @pxrty9961, welcome. Many of you ask me the same question and I give you the same answer. I'm not a professional, I haven't the absolute truth and all my respect for the people who thinks different. This is not a circuit where you look forward more speed than torque, or a route with street car where you are going easy enjoying the panoramic. This is a mountain road and you need all the torque for that the car pushes all time. I need to know the torque and power of the car for use the gearbox. For this, you take a look to the graphic of the mod or open the engine and drivetrain files of data folder. Usually, the mods for AC move between 5500-6000 low rpm and 6500-7000 high rpm, at least what I've been driving. In my head there`s no exist the possibilities for driving a car changing every gear in 10000 rpms; I've been videos doing this, but this doesn't go with me, in a real life your car would be broken the engine. Of course, when I put last gear the rpm reach the limit. In this particular car, Renault 5 Gt Turbo mod, I've detected a problem when I downshift, the rpm up so much; but this is for my style of driving. I usually use much the brake engine with a gently step on the brake foot (min 2:48) and the car goes up much rpm. I need to remember use more strong in brake foot for correcting this. Recently, I put this in practice with a Renault Megane Maxi in San Salvador track and we make better times. Good! we are learning all time ;) I give two links where you should can appreciate the differents of driving what I try to explain you; the first link is the first video that we did and the second video, we replicate the same track and the same car almost a year later. Do we do it better? Where have we improved? Hello @velro399, If you could see the torque and power graph of a car, you would see the points of revolutions per minute (rpm) where de vehicle give the maximum power and torque. In my experience with mods for Assetto Corsa, usually, this fact happens beetwen 5500-6000 low rpm and 6500-7000 high rpm. That's important, because when you drive for a mountain roads basically you need three things: torque, grip and keep the car on line. It's not the same a gearbox and engine of the street car as a rally car or a circuit car; The behavior of the vehicle is very different in the three cases: smoothness in the first, power in the second and speed in the last. And remember, if you go always to the limit rpms, you have all the numbers to break the engine and take the bus ;) Of course, I don't have the only true, it's just a personal opinion based in converstions with others pilots so amateurs as professionals. It was a pretty american car, known by the TV movies ("Charlie's Angels 76-81" / Los Angeles de Charlie) but with physics no appropiated for the european mountain roads. It has received 2 modifications (skins & physics), the first appear in this video and the last, we've done this year 2024 ("ruclips.net/video/D-oLXuYEulo/видео.html"). Hi John-xp3dh, welcome The steering wheel setup was made it in the own Assetto Corsa Game, the Logitech Steering was recognized by the game and I only had to follow the steps indicated in the options menu. Nothing special except force feedback, I use to drive with 10-25% depending of the car because I don't want to broke the G29 steering wheel in two days. Hi @casperholm78, welcome!!! Yes you're right, but you don't know everything. My gearbox are the paddles in the G29 steering wheel and my handbrake is my... logitech gearbox (hahaha). I've been seeing a lot of videos in RUclips and the family of Turbo R5 was amazing. Renault is one of that brands that takes risks in every vehicle design it launches on the market. The philopher said: theres's no silly questions only persons who are searching answers motivated for curiosity ;) When you drive for mountain roads, the torque is more important than speed, reason for what you choose a gear box with force in low revolutions. Normally this mods are created for changing gears between 6000-7000 rpm, when you reach this range you should up or down gear; if you push to the top of rpm and keep on them for time, you take the risk that the engine breaks and be out the race. Usually, the mod creator mark the limit of revolutions where the car breaks the engine; I say usually, because I have found cases where this limit is deleted or increased until numbers difficult to reach, so you can drive all time in maximum rpm without damage car. In this particular case, we have a vehicle with a good engine and efficiently gear box, with this we can keep on the range between 5500-7000 rpm and take out all torque for climb the hill and increased the speed (example 1:38-1:50). By the way, this car have a 7 gears (241 kms/h) and with tracks like this, only need 6 (197 kms/h), we leave the 7th for another circuits I hope to have answered your question, but remember I'm not the absolute truth and not the wisdom. It's only an opinion and for good o bad my style of driving. See you in the next!!!
