Thanks for checking out my channel. I was encouraged by a friend to buy myself a mountain bike during the first wave of the pandemic and I haven’t looked back since.
This channel is just a bunch of videos of me and my mates out on adventures. Whether it’s mountain biking, bike packing or climbing mountains, I’ll try to post as many as possible on here.
Thanks again, please subscribe if you enjoy, it’d be very much appreciated 👾

BIKEPACKING || The Lake District || Lake Windermere 🏔 Grizedale Forest
Просмотров 2162 года назад
So it’s been a few months since the last video. We decided on a Lakes trip and couldn’t decide on what we wanted to do so there’s a-bit of a mix bikepacking, mountain biking and more. Three days in the Lake District and the weather didn’t let us down. Camping at Low Wray campsite on Lake Windermere we visit Hawkshead and surrounding area and take in Grizedale Forest and travel along Windermere ...
GRAVEL BIKE || North Yorkshire || Malton and back again

New Year, new ride! Had a blast out and about exploring some areas around Malton that I’ve never seen. Minus 2 degrees when we left with icy roads and ridiculously cold hands and feet! Would do it all again in a heart beat! #subscribe #youtubecontent #newvideo #biking #bikepacking #highlights

Hi, I have enjoyed watching your videos. Please can I ask, from Beverley to the camp site, iis it off road or not? Thank you
Hi, it’s a mixture of on road and off road until you join the Trans Pennine track in Hull
Thank you very much
I`ve been to Dalby many times and I can say with confidence I`ve never seen it with barely anyone there that`s absolutely crazy!
Great video lads. Every time we go to Whitby for a holiday we HAVE to walk to Robin Hoods Bay,it's fantastic. The Larpool Viaduct is an absolute work of art, when you're on it the views are wonderful (especially when a steam train passes by) or if you're walking below it,and see it in all its splendour. The Fish and Chips looked amazing !
Thanks so much, sorry for the delay in replying, busy planning some more adventures. Yes, the fish and chips were indeed amazing 🙏
Beautiful, thanks for sharing! Please where is this?
Not a problem, it’s on a public footpath near Pocklington
Great memories, mate. Looking forward to watching this again and again over the years. Great video. 🙌
Ready for the next one!! 🤟🤟
That is a top video of The Cinder Track. Did that with my pal a few years ago and will be back. Very entertaining. Really enjoyed it. You have a new subscriber. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠
Thank you very much! It’s a great little ride out, we did it there and back on the same day but decided against videoing it on the way back, bit repetitive
@@averageadventure1554 Yeah know what you mean. I think I edited mine quite drastically and probably should have divided it into two parts. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠
We are thinking of walking from Ravenscar to Whitby on this track, it looks absolutely awesome.
Absolutely do it! Amazing views everywhere. You won’t be disappointed
:)
Love watching your rides. After our hol in Pickering we can’t wait to get back and explore the area more with our bikes. 🚴♀️😊
Thank you very much, we’re trying to get plenty of miles in with the day light we have. Plenty of big adventures in the pipeline as well 🥳
“Huewurp oh no!”
🤣🤣 yeah, ok I fell over again
Your vlog brings back both good and bad memories, firstly both Mallyan Spout and Goathland is such a beautiful place but the the bad memory is that I managed to fall in the river, which was so embarrassing haha. Really great vlog and definitely subscribed to your channel.
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed them. I’m making it my mission this year to see the top 20 biggest UK waterfalls.
@@averageadventure1554 that sounds amazing, we wish you luck and look forward to seeing your vlogs in the future.
Where did you ride please? Looks wonderful and do-able on our Genesis TdeF. We were at Dalby a couple of weeks ago. 😊
I can’t remember the exact place, but it’s on the back road to Dalby Forest (that in itself is a nice ride) and you turn off heading towards Troutsdale and Snaiton
Nice place to ride. Thanks for sharing your adventure 👍🙂
Thanks for watching again. It was a nice ride out
Also a spot for peregrine falcons at Malham, as well as being a place where one of the Harry Potter films was set. Nice video, as always 🙌
🙌🏻 I am now googling Harry Potter
Nice one. Super chilled. Looked great.
Very chilled 😎
Hi, thanks for your video, we will follow your next adventures!
Thanks very much. Love the name!
@@averageadventure1554 excellent 🤩
Nice rides guys. I really didn't get the restriction on filming at the campsite. What was their issue? A little strange! JP
Not 100% sure, think it was because it was private land.
@@averageadventure1554 Bonkers!!
Excellent fun again. Where to next?!
🙌🏻 somewhere flat 🤣
Nice overnight bikepacking adventure 👍
It was a three day trip. We were planning on doing the Rhine river through Europe until this pandemic hit 😡 thanks for watching again 🙌🏻
That brought back some memories :)
Gla to hear it. We’re working on a few more as well 🤟
Nice ride and the campsite looked great :)
It was such a great spot 👍
Looks like you guys having a good time out there. Fun trail to ride.
It was definitely, we’ve done it a few times before but thought we’d take the camera out with us this time round
Good Forest 🙏
Absolutely!! Love it every time 🤘
@@averageadventure1554 on my youtube channel, i've also discussed forests too ruclips.net/video/k65UclJ45iQ/видео.html
🤙🏼
New bike looks good :)
Safe to say he is very impressed with it 🤘
Few good sections of trail 👍
It’s definitely one of my favs, seems to go on for ages as well
Bikepacking is the best. I do that once a month, love it. Great bikepacking vlog, thanks 👍
It’s just the best way to explore somewhere. Agreed, absolutely love it
Nice ride lads
Favourite one yet. With the camping, it was just awesome. So many ideas for adventures planned soon
@@averageadventure1554 Look forward to seeing the videos :)
Looks like a fun ride.
Was a good day out
looked fun :)
Weather was so weird that day
Good times. Great views.
Awesome views, don’t think I’ve done it on a sunny day yet 🤣
That looked like fun guys. Loved the dropper post btw! JP
Yeah, I’ve been waiting a while to get myself one but it definitely was a great purchase
Snowing in April! Crazy!! We have more of a problem with heat but I'd take that every day! I find the climbs hard, as I'm a big gy, but the winds, as you had, seem to sap my strength more. Nice ride. JP the old guy
Thanks again JP, really glad you enjoyed the video. Fingers crossed the weather should be picking up from today.
This brings back some memories. First climbed Helvellyn back in 1976, and via Striding Edge. Way before you lads wee born. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome, glad you could check it out again 🤟
Nice off-road biking. I'm bike touring here in Florida. Have a good day!
I bet the weather is a bit nicer your end than it is here
Great video lads. You picked some nice roads. It's nice to see some beautiful Yorkshire scenery too. JP
We have been quite lucky with the weather the days we decided to ride out
@@averageadventure1554 Good to hear :)
Nice ride, thanks for sharing 👍🙂
Thanks man, appreciate it 🤟
That was fun 👍
Thanks very much. We do it as much for ourselves as everyone else. Really appreciate it 🙌🏻
@@averageadventure1554 thanks, me too. I ride here in Florida. I just got back from my 3-day bike trip at the Florida Panhandle. Check it out from my channel. Thanks 😊
I definitely will give it a look. I’m gonna click that subscribe now.
I watched this second but never mind. It was a great reminder of home. I come from Skipton but I don't think you got close to there as I didn't recognize any of the scenery or landmarks. Looking forward to number three :)
We will eventually get that way out. For the time being we are having to stay relatively local.
@@averageadventure1554 That makes sense. We live in unusual times. JP
Now then lads. Good to see you cycling around Yorkshire. I miss it even though I'm out in Thailand now so I can hardly complain. Happy to support your channel. Hope you get the chance to check out some of my videos at some point. JP The old guy.
Thanks, although I have to say I’m slightly jealous! The weather looks so good in your videos
@@averageadventure1554 It's super hot which is nice but can get too hot. Most days max temps now at 40c JP
@@Biking360 that does seem a little too hot. Perfect for early morning and late evening rides I bet.
@@averageadventure1554 You're absolutely right.
