@YuuPham Thank you YuuPham for your kind words of encouragement. I have always loved Patchwork, but never had the courage to try it out, fearing that the sides would not come together perfectly. When I see your work, yhe patience with which you make those neat little stitches , I am reminded of my mother. She too was a wonderful needle woman, and was very proud of her greatest treasure , her Singer Sewing machine. Just after WW II , times were difficult. Yet my father saved all the money he could, and bought her this beautiful machine for he knew that stitching was her passion . She put it to very good use, stitching the most beautiful things to makec our home cosy~~~ from pleated curtains, crochet edged pillowcases, pretty gathered skirts for my sister and myself , embroidered counterpanes, tea cosies , table cloths and serviettes. Nothing in our house was store bought. She tried many times to teach me sewing on her machine. But in my teens I showed no interest, in it, and now I regret it very much. When I see your hands at work, I am reminded of her, and miss her so much. I will definitely try to make a small patchwork for a side table. Wish me luck YuuPham Much love to you from INDIA.

I mentioned in the video description that the materials used are old clothes or leftover fabric... These are pieces of fabric that have been in my stockpile for a long time. I bought them years ago but didn’t use them all. Now, their quality has deteriorated significantly; the fibers have become brittle and tear easily. That’s why I think this is one of the most effective ways to make use of them. Thank you once again!
