This is so real when I first cleared floor 12 i was shaking so hard I dropped my phone Still almost exclusively did up to floor 11 after that bc I don't need that anxiety in my comfort game And then a friend of mine 36* for me which was really nice to see that my characters were strong enough to do that Also proved it's probably a skill issue on my part, but how is it my fault that sometimes inputs don't register on my phone y'know

Speed makes your units attack sooner and more often. More Speed means more turns for your characters. You generally want as much speed as you can get on most of your characters.

As someone who never understood the appeal of turn based until a few months ago, i get it now. While it may seem weird that we "just stand there while the enemies hit you," that's not exactly what you should be focusing on. The focus is instead on the strategy. Deciding which attacks to use and on who, resource management, whether through items or SP, and the forethought to plan ahead and plan for mutliple scenarios. There's the team building aspect, too, but that's more just an RPG thing in general. Whenever I'm fighting in a turn based game, my brain now defauts to D&D, and then the "just standing there and getting hit" makes more sense, as that's literally what happens to you in D&D 90% of the time 😂
