Drinking with Locals in Moynak
Let's continue the journey through Karakalpakstan and Uzbekistan. In this video we finally reach Moynak (also spelled Muynak) and visit the famous ship cemetery a bit. But before that, we stop for a nice Uzbek meal near Kungirot, drive through the desert - lots of fun.
In Moynak not only we check the place where all those old ships are, but I will also show you my hotel room (rather funny, I have to say) and then I go for drinks and even meet some locals. Join me!

That little white sphere is call Kurt and it is made from strained yogurt with salt, dried in the wind in baskets made of tree twigs Everyone loves it here, especially the kids. But not all foreigners like it so am glad you did.
Welcome to my country! just saw the thumbnail and subscribed immediately! p.s. Gafur Gulom - not Golum)) He was a great Uzbek poet

Thank you for your video. I'm a subway aficionado. I ride the metros in cities that I visit. Hopefully someday I'll visit Tashkent .
Brno is best 👍
in Uzbekistan you can use debit cards. In many big supermarkets like 'Korzinka', you can buy with visa or mastercard
This is very informative video, thank you for sharing, this will surely help me on my travel next week :)
I would want to travel Uzbekiston as a foreigner i think i would love here

Thanks a lot, mate! I loved my time in Uzbekistan! More videos coming soon 😊🇺🇿🇺🇿🇺🇿
Just survived hot summer, lol. You has a great weather at that time. We wish we had more rainy and snowy days. 😂
Oh yes, this summer is extreme! I would love some rain now. I was lucky with the weather throughout my trip actually 🤩🇺🇿
Would love to see Jackson here in the comments section! Jacksooooon! Where are you?
Yeah, he should have been a constant presence on the channel 🤩
Oooh, what a nightmare hotel! I don't think there is enough beer to make a night there bearable! Aweful! But Jackson! It kind of saves the night! Such a nice companion! I would have liked to see more of him! All in all, a very enjoyable video! 🍻
It wasn't really a nightmare, but it wasn't great either. I was cracking up when I saw the bed was wrapped in plastic 😂😂 And the yellow stains in the bathroom 😒😅
Your videos are so authentic. Refreshing change. We really love them. Please keep them coming. ❤🙏😊
Aww that's an awesome feedback! It made my day! Comments like these are the reason I keep making these videos. Thank you so much! 😍
You were drinking softest beer you can find here :))) i'm very impressed that you liked Kurt (you called it cheese) with beer :) True Uzbekistanian dude :)
@@ibayazitov hahaha finally someone who knows their beer. I went to that pub and told the lady I want the premium one, because it's better and has like normal alcohol percentage. But they didn't have that one, so I tried the lite (light) version 😂😂😂 Clearly not the same stuff as in the big cities, but it was an amazing experience 🤩
@@WhereDoWeTravelNow the best beer is the cheapest one) because its some kind of natural brewery ) name of the beer is "Qibray", but you need dring it ice cold :)
Ice cold is how I like it. Next time I'm in Uzbekistan I will especially look for this one. It's gonna be a quest on its own 🤭
A varied video during which I tried all kinds of things Appetite - smoked fish looks very appetizing Longing for the road and nostalgia - desert drive Sadness - Aral Sea history and the ship cemetery (in 1980 firm measures had to be taken, already in 2000 it was a desperate situation and today...I have no words) The mournful howl of the wind, the darkness, the deserted streets seemed to be in tune with the sadness of the ship cemetery and one really felt the need for a drink. Optimism - when you meet friendly, kind people
Yeah, I guess there is a lot going on in this video. I am very happy I chose to come to this part of the country. It was something very unique for me 😍🇺🇿🇺🇿
So good
Thank you so much, my friend! Glad you liked it :) 🇺🇿🇺🇿
pleaee dont be upset everthing is so expensive in khiva you know even the same price for locals
Maybe a bit more expensive than other cities, but still affordable. I loved my time in Khiva and Uzbekistan in general 😍🇺🇿🇺🇿🇺🇿
have you been khiva sir
Yes, I have a few videos from Khiva actually. Check the channel 😎🇺🇿🇺🇿
Welcome to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿🤗
Thank you so much, I've had a wonderful time here. More Uzbek videos coming soon 🇺🇿🇺🇿🇺🇿
Jackson seems like the best drinking partner. Super fun, I would have gladly joined ya guys 😅
@@Unpopular.Opinion4u Jackson is the best! 🤩
Are you going to visit the coast of Aral sea?
Would've been a good idea, but I didn't have so much time. I know it sounds silly, but the only reason I came so far in the North-West was because of the ship cemetery. I saw an image online some months prior and I thought to myself "I have to go there, I just have to". It looked like the ultimate adventure. In the next episode I will show more of that and then I go back to Nukus.
@@WhereDoWeTravelNow Got it, so I'll wait for the next video to come out
Welcome to Karakalpakstan
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it :)
Hello, Gabriel! I liked the way you tell and show the western part of my country (I'm an ethical russian living in Tashkent), so you made me to visit Karakalpakstan and enjoy its great views. Also, I was impressed by your positivity and the atmosphere of the video, as if I was listening to my friend, so I'll definitely subscribe) Your content definitely has to be in the recommendations.
Hey, Klim, very nice to meet you and thank you for the lovely comment! I loved my time in Tashkent too. Many people say it's avoidable and choose to go straight to Samarkand or Bukhara, but I actually liked it. Had a fun time there (on and off camera 😋). Thank you so much for the nice things you said! I really like it when some people actually watch the video and enjoy the slow pace and the atmosphere. Hope you'll enjoy the rest of the journey, too, if you haven't already :) Cheers!
