Fuck the corpo. Fuck their bottom lines, and fuck their KPI's. They turned us into sheep, and they've given us one function: consume. You're just the cheap labor that nets their greedy CEO's a fat and juicy Christmas bonus. You're just the statement piece that they throw around to feel a little more powerful. You're just a number on a fuckin performance report for board members and investors that would piss on your grave if it made them an extra dollar. They're not fighting everyday for an inch more of their lives; you are! You're selling your soul choom. You're losing. Wake the fuck up, and take all of it BACK.
I saw corps strip farmers of water ... and eventually of land. Saw them transform Night City into a machine fueled by people's crushed spirits, broken dreams and emptied pockets. Corps've long controlled our lives, taken lots... and now they're after our souls! V, I've declared war not because capitalism's a thorn in my side or outta nostalgia for an America gone by. This war's a people's war against a system that's spiralled outta our control. It's a war against the fuckin' forces of entropy, understand? Do whatever it takes to stop 'em, defeat 'em, gut 'em. If I gotta kill, I'll kill. If I need your body, I'll fuckin' take it! Fuckin' hell ... You still don't see it. But you will one day.
This song feels so full of hatred, but at the same time it has a slight hint of melancholy. As derranged as Johnny might be, nobody deserves a fate like that, Plus most of what he says you really can't say he's wrong...
Was watching RUclips shorts and this started playing in the background getting louder as I scrolled, never been more terrified over a glitch in my life
3:10 this track is like black magic... I became completely invested when Keanu Silverhand started opening up to you. Music is such a powerful storyteller, its telling us what Johnny's personal hell is like, its not just anger, but a deep malencholy too.
That speech is single handedly one of the best lines in this entire game, the unfiltered rage of Johnny’s words and actions just make him such an interesting person, a true cyberpunk
I’ve declared war not because capitalism is a thorn in my side, or out of nostalgia for an America gone by. This war is a people’s war, against a system that’s spiraled out of our control. It’s a war against the fucking forces of entropy, DO YOU UNDERSTAND!? You don’t see it yet, but you will one day.
One of the best soundtracks in the game. The rising tensions with every word Johnny says, the intensity of the music increasing every syllable, all culminating into a feeling that you won't make it out alive. Absolutely perfect.
I was searching for this track ever since I first heard it in my first playthrough. A friend just found it for me, and thank god. Such an atmospheric and moody track, I can't get enough of it ♥
You're practically an undead being on the verge of either being taken over by a chaotic ghost of the past, or dying to your body rejecting what's left of your existence. The worst part of it is the writing was literally on the wall the whole time. V now has No Future.
@@olzhas1one755 the most terrifying thing is that if you look closely cyberpunk 2077 society and compare with our actual world, you can clearly see some things who are already true :some companies, like Google, are already way more powerful than government and can make practically whatever they want by exploiting and returning the law to their advantage, many government already use the médias to brainwash the people and built an unique way of thinking (examples : the more the years pass the more if you won’t support the woke culture, sjw, progressism, ... You’re treated of fascist racist,... and kick from the society), we become more and more dependant to the technologies, we start playing god with things we don't completely understand (examples: the scientist who found some mamoth dna in a frozen mamoth and want to reborn the mamoth species, or those who want to create a completely autonomous ai, unless Stephen hawking warning) . THIS. This is what Night City sounds like in my head.
Eren Yeager and Silvehand would have a lot to talk about.
“If I need your BODY I’ll fucking TAKE it”
Пошел 3 год, а я стою курю на балконе под ту же музыку каждый раз, мне не надоедает
This makes me wanna listen to the voice inside my head on its speech about why corps are bad and "we" should take them down
"You got this one choom whos already kick the bucket"
"You really are turning into me.."

I just loved all those scenes where Johnny used to get fired up and deliver monologues against the corpos and Arasaka.

Johnny with V make us ONE and a legend of NC!
The Unabomber explaining his ideology:
Makes you feel like watching some depressing, early 2000's thriller

Love it cuz it gives me black ops 2 vibes
No matter how much you try, this world will force you into turning into a monster. Unfortunately, that’s the only language most humans understand.

Johnny: corpos bad, terrorism is based V: What? Johnny: What?
When it comes to this scene, it reminds me of the outro music of black lagoon
Holy moly love the style., Ngl i like those dark styles

Just promise me one thing asshole.. you won't forget me.
Really enjoy this soundtrack because it establishes a sense of impending doom and you feel like your hopeless to stop it.
Yes, you're spot-on. It matches the feeling of this tv series Chernobyl to me(although i havent even watched it yet)

@@livviek4420that series has an incredible soundtrack. Incredible everything really
It makes me feel like the ambiguity of what’s behind the Blackwall. I have mounds of chills coming on me as I’m writing this.
This is like Society, if it has a theme music.
