MAN, this takes me back!! I had all of the PlayStation Underground demo discs from around 1998/1999, then all the ones when they teamed with OPM, all the way thru the very last one. I was heartbroken when they stopped doing them. I always got excited when it was around the time of month that the magazine would come in the mail. Unfortunately, all my demo discs were lost in a fire, so this upload brings a huge smile to my face!

Thank you for this... so many memories from when I was a kid. I used to play the same game over and over again without knowing they were demos 😂 I remember when my parents bought me the ps3 and I went to Gamestop to sell the disc and they told me "That's not a game, those are demos" while I first thought they were going to give me a lot of cash since the disc had multiple games jaja

Believe it or not i'm into a whopping 5 games on this disc jak 3 the incredibles the fairly oddparents shadow showdown spyro a hero's tail and especially under the skin

I used to live in Iowa in the middle of nowhere, no pc, no internet, no tv, just these demo disks. As a 13 year old I watched them over and over.

This is 1 of my favorite ntsc ps2 demo discs for some interesting reasons 1 the music the plays at 22:40 2 this disc got me into hard rock music thanks to the game amplitude 3 the rayman 3 prototype is area 3 of clearleaf forest and the tower of the leptys 4 zapper is a spin off of frogger 5 this is the 1st disc to feature an atv off road game 6 the 2nd disc to feature a WWE game the 1st was on demo disc 33

I still have this disc!! Have the ISO ripped to my PC. Easily one of the best jampack cds they released back in the day. The download feature for saves of fully unlocked Tekken 3 and Gran Turismo are icing on the cake.

The cool moves were 1 of my favorite parts of the ntsc ps2 demo disc's I've only executed the 1's for pac-man world 2(how to get unlimited lives in treewood forest and how to access a secret maze in bdoing woods 🪵) edit it just now dawned on me that there was also a cool move for rayman 3 which I've executed many times(how to defeat the 1st form of the final boss)

The last time the section for demos woul be referred to as "The Vault." It certainly was good while it lasted.

I have this demo disc, and, I'm not sure if it's a hardware thing or otherwise, but, whenever I try to load up the Jimmy Neutron Jet Fusion demo, my PlayStation 2 stops reading the disc once I enter the demo, and thus, I am stuck with a black screen with an image of Jimmy and Goddard (likely the boot icon used when starting up the game, which could be seen in other PlayStation 2 games, usually from Krome Studios) If it IS because of the hardware, then, I'm out of luck there, because I have heard that several PlayStation 2 games have compatibility issues when playing on the slimline models (the slimline models started with model number SCPH-70000, the model I have in particular is SCPH-75001)

I would love to have this disc just for the Ape Escape 2 demo. My collection of Official PlayStation Magazine demo discs are a bit spotty for a long time now, but I hope I can get back to building it soon.

Man these bring back a ton of memories as a kid when I only had enough money to buy a few games a year. I would always get game magazines for the demo discs to try out games. These “cool moves” were super helpful back when the internet was not as reliable.
