Sorry but you obviously failed to do your homework...this place is awesome. A DAY PASS costs 29.00 for admission to the park and a cab from the ship there is 12 bucks. Buying excursions packages on a boat is a rip off. Pick your cabana or chair and sit. Order from your chairs and enjoy everything. Dolphin experience is on sale right now for 79 bucks and includes access to the entire park. You just got scammed with your package wherever you bought it. We spent 55 bucks and that included entire park day pass for 29 and ate and drank for 4 hours and never had to leave our chairs. Terrible video because you just had bad info.

Wanted to see the Sportsbook section. Does the Sportsbook section have a wall of TVs to watch the games? Is there theater type seating available? Any bar table seating in the Sportsbook section? Thanks for an answer.

On Icon of the Seas, is the ship’s wifi 2.4GHz or 5GHz? I have the same router and this is displayed in the Internet tab. Reason is, I will be using a fairly small power bank to power the router. I plan to turn off the wifi band that won’t be used. This saves about 0.5W of power, which can add up. Thx.

Do not trust this review! I just returned from the trip, and none of the claims made are true. The free drinks and food are available outside the dolphin building. There was nothing dangerous about the snorkeling area; my family and I had a fantastic time. If you want to get your pictures taken but find the price too high, feel free to make an offer or simply say no thank you.

Just Cruised on Elation, and we we're heading back to Jacksonville when Hurricane Helene hit. Jacksonville closed the port. We had to hang out for an extra day and a half at sea east of Miami. So we got a 6.5 day cruise for the price of a 5-day cruise. But I agree with you on a lot of your points. The food was mediocre and I was pretty tired of it by the end. Midday if you went into the pool, it felt like you were in a giant pot of people soup... I don't drink so the bars were moot point except for getting my soda. I did enjoy both of the shows that we saw. It just seemed like an old tired ship. I was on Fascination years ago, so it reminded me of that. When we were in Nassau, the ship Mardi gras was docked next to us. We looked like a rowboat compared to that one! But I agree, and in fact some of the items you rated I might even give a little bit lower score. Next cruise will be on a different ship.

I will have to see if they have improved by November when we go on Icon. The service you describe is what we had on Wonder of the Seas but we tried to say it was just because the ship was new. Waited over 30 minutes to get a waitress, then ordered with 2 hours before the show and with 30 minutes before the show starting we finally just walked out so we could get seats at the show. No idea why the wait was so long at all but it was absolutely terrible. I do know that if you order the campfire cookie they did warn us on Oasis that it takes 40 minutes to make it by the time they bake the cookie which I thought was crazy but at least they were up front with the wait time.

Don't see the point of this as you can hotspot your android mobile to achieve the same and you are not restricted to staying nearby your cabin where the router would have to be unless the signal is strong enough to cover the entire ship which I doubt. The primary phone can access ship's wifi anywhere and your partner just needs to be close by the hotspot phone.

A question, on previous cruises to log into the WiFi I had to put in cabin number then the password. Do other ships just have a WiFi ssd and password without cabin number? Can you log into a ships wifi with this device if you need to put your cabin number in?

I kind of agree with you. We went in May and the service there was definitely not as good as anywhere else on the ship. The main dining room service was unbelievable. The food was fine though, not fantastic, but good.

Did you guys bring Uno or did they have it there? That is such a great idea! We are going on Symphony next May. We have 2 girls that will be 11 & 9, and they love Uno, and my husband I love playing cribbage so on nights when they want to go to kids club we can find a spot to hang out and play.

All fine and dandy but at one point you said to put in the password of the ships Wi-Fi. On Royal we connect through the Royal app. Is there another way to get the Wi-Fi password?

Hi Tony this is brilliant. Thank you. It works on Coral Princess. I set the router up with a name and password in advance and tried it out first at home on our devices. As you said copy the MAC address to the router after first using my iPhone. When the router was plugged in, all our devices connected. If everyone goes out of the cabin can turn it off, otherwise the ship internet gets confused of which to allow access - the phone or router if the phone is trying to connect to the ship wifi.
