Should the riots have happened? No. They caused dozens of deaths, many more injuries, and untold amounts of property damage. Just because someone dies doesn't give you the right to steal, beat people up, burn shit, and break shit. The officer who had his knee on George Floyd's neck should've put his knee in the small of George's back and put the cuffs on George. Doesn't help that George was on drugs. If the officer did things differently, George Floyd would've just been checked out by a doctor and put in prison. Seriously people, when a cop says to put your hands where he/she can see them, you put your hands up, and follow directions. Don't resist or try to get away, it makes things easier for everyone involved.
