Hey, long time no see ^^ I can relate well to the part at 6:26. That was actually my reason to abstain from school for about 6 or 7 weeks in the beginning of year 11. For me it had reached a point where despite my will to go (out of the moral expectations I set myself) my body refused, resulting in symptoms of serious illness, which luckily gave me a valid excuse to stay home until my mental state somewhat improved. I'm happy and grateful to not share your experience about panic attacks at school and I think I do now more understand why you did eventually leave, which saddened me a lot originally, and still does. Looking back at it, things maybe could have went similarly for me if I didn't have as much luck as I did. I am happy to know you must have made the right decision for yourself. Glad to hear your life is set into a clear direction. I think working 8 hours a day is possible if you're doing what you love only. Most people "working" 8 hours don't really work the whole time either, that never works unless coerced. Productivity is not only time spent and especially in a creative field, it can be hard to measure the quality of a product, so I have faith in your approach and I am happy to know that you share that belief. In the end though, I do not mean to tell you that you can be productive in your approach, that's not what it should be about - it seems you have realized productivity is not the focus of your life's work, and that seems like a good thing to think. I wish you the best of luck in the music industry. Talent aside, it's difficult to get things going there without contacts, at least that's what I've heard. I would like to inform you that you can attend public music universities even without a highschool degree though, provided you can certify "exceptional talent", which, I don't know how to judge and what the bar is, but with a fee of only 30€ I think it might be worth a try! University is no coercion whatsoever and you can leave at any time or not show up at all - at least that has been my experience and I think based on what you've said, that might be worth a shot. Could also help to at least find friends or contacts into the industry, even if you can not get anything out of the educational offers. Even better if you can! Anyway, hope you're having a good time in the future! May 2025 be a better year for you! I will now proceed to listen to your video.
