BMW E46 325i with catless M52 Headers + single exhaust + custom intake
Switched from a dual exhaust system to a single back in February. The exhaust system is similar design to SpecE46 race cars but uses 2.5 inch piping. Also has an custom intake.

Strapped the car on the campus dyno for our thesis research. Did some power pulls at the end of the day. Car made 131WHP and 200Nm of torque. Mods: Stock M52 Catless Headers Full Custom 2.5inch Single Exhaust System Custom Cold Air Intake System Default Alpha/N tune from ECU

June 15 2024 Set a new PB of 2:01.8 on a track day. Was hoping to break the 2 minute barrier but I didn't get to push through. Very fun saturday with friends.

Me and my friends got called last minute if we wanted to perform some drifting for a crowd at a local car show just outside my house. Car is an automatic 325i with an open diff so pardon the lackluster drifting. This was the Spread The Love Laguna by Skyline Ph Car Show at Southwoods Laguna back in September

Joined the first round of Super Sprint for 2024. Had very worn thoroughly heat-cycled Westlake Sport RS at the fronts while I was forced to use my skinny expired Dunlop LM704s at the back. Still managed got to get 3 podiums in my classes plus one best time for Intermediate Overall with the heavy old boat.

Tried making a few tweaks that lets you only have very short pops on command by tapping the throttle. Car has catless M52 headers, stock midpipe, and a custom freeflow/straight-through muffler.

😂Thats not a muffler delete. The OEM was removed and 2 aftermarket mufflers were put back on.

Awesome video thank you. Really shows off the exhaust. Do you notice any annoying drone or is the bass note overpowering during daily driving?
Nope the exhaust adds a good amount of volume but does not introduce any drone.
What did you do? Step by step, and did you use any certain name brands? The sound is perfection, I want to do the same thing on my 2018 2.5 l.
isn't 131 WHP too low for a 325i ?
stock M52B25 131 wheel sounds bit low but still around proper range. says default tune on the ECU though, easily 150 wheel if tuned properly without other issues.
@@wrth aaaa M52B25. I thought it was M54B25 which is supposed to have 192 crank hp

@@goodtiger1316Minor wielding skills... some wrenches... a floor jack... an easy to find kit... and about 1 full day of effort and that stops being an issue. And while you are doing it, you can replace the bushing on the rear subframe mounts, and the ride will stiffen a lot.
So bro you slide it at first gear then upshift to second to keep it going ?
I take the first sweeping corner at 2nd then downshift to 1st as the corner tightens then shift back up to 2nd again for the next wider corner.

Yes sir still very ok parin ang BM/BN models. Very reliable naman except medyo mabilis maging palitin battery for the start stop mazda models. Other than that its a pretty good car.

Thanks! I just retarded the ignition timing at the rpm ranges where I wanted pops and have milliseconds of overrun upon lift.

It doesn’t auto shift into second when you hit limiter ? Since it’s a auto
Sadly it does. That's why you have to feather it to not hit the limiter. You can see it on the first transition that I let it auto upshift. Makes for a similar clutch kick jolt to the driveline hehe

Thanks! It was not necessary for my car as it had the EU2 tune from the factory but I still mapped out the 2 post cat sensors in the tune itself.
