    I am used to doing 90 minutes interviews. If an interview is scheduled to go for just 30 minutes, then I presume they have somebody for the role already and the rest of us are being interviewed as spares, just to comply with the organization's rules.

    Great video! I am embarking on a career break soon, however I have several reasons (relocation, travel, personal development etc). So would it be best to just make one entry and break it down in the description? Just wary of making multiple entries that fill up my timeline and potentially hide my work experiences from immediate view.

    • @daniellebradley1301
      @daniellebradley1301 2 года назад

      Thanks, glad you found it helpful! I would make it just 1 break, to your point, multiple entries will be more lengthy and you want to emphasize more your work experience that's a fit for the next role you're targeting. Hope that helps!

      Hi P H, it depends on the settings you have set-up in your profile. When signed in on LinkedIn, if you go to "Settings & Privacy" and then "Visibility of your LinkedIn Activity" and then "Share Profile Updates with Your Network", you will be able to set up whether you want this to occur or not. Hope this helps!

    • @daniellebradley1301
      @daniellebradley1301 2 года назад

      @@sonovpru9559 I understand the anxiety that can cause... the good news with this is that by making this update, LinkedIn is normalizing career breaks and employers are also more inclined these days to not overthink these either. It creates an opportunity for you to bring context to it and control the narrative so they're not drawing their own, possibly incorrect conclusions.
