A Year in the Timber VOLUME 3 Sep 2022 - Sep 2023
Another installment in the HERE BEFORE US series of Trail Cam videos. The series will play uninterrupted from the Fall of 2021 and is still ongoing in the Fall of 2024. Filmed over one year from September 2022 to September 2023 in the forests of Central New England. This episode contains my favorite BLACKBEAR sequence among all the usual suspects. I like to watch these videos on a large screen TV with headphones on to get a better sense of time and place.

I stumbled across this Native American snake Effigy in stone in central Massachusetts. I apologize for the limited video. I did not quite understand what I had found at the time. Other excellent Stone effigies are all over New England, Snakes, turtles, and birds. Keep your eyes open when you are in the woods. It is amazing that any effigies survive undisturbed. The thumbnail of a possible Snake...
I was left, wondering why those moose were running through there?
Hi Paul, The clip in the dark just proceeding the running moose also may be running moose but you can only hear them, not see them. Then the running Moose at 0630AM. Then they come back thru again half an hour later running in the same direction on the same path. They do not appear to be running from anything. I suspect they were enjoying themselves as the rut was gaining steam. I often have Moose in my clips, but I do not have any other running Moose.
Thanks Bob. Yes, it's my experience that you hardly ever see them running, but your suggestion about the rut might be right.
Well done, Bob. Great stuff.
Thank you kindly Captain.
Wow!! Incredible shots!
Thank YOU Jake. More vids to follow. Say HI to your fam visiting for me.
great videos!! where are your trail cams?
The Cams are in Central New England. I move them around. The next videos will be in new places. I am pleasantly surprised I never get any people visiting my Cam locations. Over time I learned how to get better videos and visitors.
