SOME OTHER STUFF REGARDING THE NPC SYSTEM I SHOULD MENTION: The NPC does in fact have a field of view, if you stand behind him, his head will not rotate 360 degrees to see you; his vision rays will also stop casting. As of right now, running behind him will cause him to completely forget where you are, I will add movement and tracking later on. The animations are placeholder, and he is not finished just yet, I have a lot of things to add and there is a list below. SOME OTHER STUFF REGARDING THE GUN SYSTEM I SHOULD MENTION: Your chance to miss your shot increases with your character's velocity (The speed at which you're moving at) If you're running at above 16 walkspeed, your chance is multiplied by 4, and it's base value is 1. No sounds were added during this video aside from background music, the sounds in game are from the Toolbox temporarily but as I finalise the system I'll use/create original sounds. No external modules were used, everything you see was scripted and animated by myself. The animations are placeholder, I'm not so great at animating with Roblox's Animator (I'm not spending $30 on Moon Animator) I'm much better in Blender and I'll eventually create the final animations there. You have two slots, primary and secondary; each with their respective holster, upon picking up a gun, if the slot for that gun is free, you'll holster your gun there. However if the slot is not free, the gun will be placed inside of your inventory. I'm sure I sound like a nerd, but the Hardest Quest wasn't that difficult for me as a newbie. The enemies are not that dangerous and there are places where you can hide behind cover. The only huge problem is that I fucked up this route and didn’t know where to go and the fact that all this was given only 10 minutes.
