I think he may have hit the slide release too early. However I did inspect our mags last night and more than a few of the springs have shortened over time. Probably around 24K rounds total through all of the mags we rotate. So we ordered some new springs last night.

he fired 10 rounds, stepped out shot a round at a target, went dry in the open, perfectly legal and teh SO still gave hima. PE, bad call.

Ya. Been watching all the vids. It was a bad call. Guys did that exact thing all day on many stages with no PE. Maybe he gave you a PE for having long hair??

Yeah they waive the concealment garment requirement during local club matches in the Florida summer.

Depends on the range, this one, Reload in Tarpon Springs, FL allows 10 and up if parents sign a waiver for them.

It was a great match. I was worried about slipping in the mud but it didn’t seem to slow him down much. Something to be said for being young and fearless.
