You did actually rather well, I'm looking forward to the next mission, it was always my favorite to do back when the multiplayer was still active. It was actually the only way I could play it, since I couldn't even pass the first mission, and didn't know how to code in the mission passed script on the gamestop version since I was like 7 or 8. Good times

this game was WAyyy ahead of its time, i remember picking it up for like...i think like 7 or 9 bucks at a ' colbys book store ' or something at our boise outlet mall, summer time of 2005 i think, it would run on my pc but it ran like crap, it still ran like crap on all my pcs up until 2009-2011 when i finally got a good CPU then it went to ' can't run on 64 BIT computers ' :/ .... haven't played this game in over 12-13 years easily

A new video about MoW, it's wonderful! In my opinion, this is the easiest mission in the Soviet campaign. Usually, before entering the headquarters, I stunned all the allied partisans with a blow of fist for to change their weapons from rifles to MG and SMG. I did this so that it would be easier for them to contain the German counterattack. I took an anti-tank rifle, then went to the headquarters. And then came the complete annihilation of the attacking Nazis. Fun fact: One of the enemy submachine gunner have StG-44... in 1941 year(!) P.S. Try to go through Men of War: Red Tide after complete Men of War.

Best Way developers were injecting krokodil in their veins while drinking vodka during the programming of this mission. There's no other explanation. One of the most surreal and retarded experiences I ever had in an RTS game. You basically don't play this mission - friendly AI does it for you. In fact, you don't even have to shoot your weapon, just proceed ahead and watch your allies clear the level for you. If you try to take part, you'll need a few clips for just one German, while your allies kill them in one hit. Faces of War looks exactly the same like MoW (2009) but 'plays' totally different, MoW is a solid RTS game while Faces of War feels more like a parody.

Good luck man, MoW is not the easiest game to do all the missions on hard. Personally I've managed to complete all the missions in the entire mow series on hard except silent heroes ( i'm pretty sure they never tested to see if hard mode on that is even possible )

I finished the mission in hard mode from 2 months ago i think Without saving i surprised from itself 😂 Good gameplay ❤ Strategy: i moved chaffe tank to the fight arena to destroy the 2 light tanks then i moved it to the start position again but i put two soldiers they are having the antitank grenades I destroyed all tanks by them then the sherman came and i continued the fight by it I didn't try to repair the pz4😅

If you had picked up an MG you could have killed the 3 tankmen easily, you wouldn't even need a grenade. Best Way made LMGs in this game hilariously overpowered, they do almost as much damage as bolt action rifles, they seem to be more accurate than SMGs, have more range and there's plenty of ammo everywhere. I always equip all of my guys with LMGs unless there's a designated sniper, in that case I let him keep his rifle and also give him an SMG. LMGs were almost just as strong in Faces of War too, but they had a bit worse dispersion. Honestly they're still the best weapons even in the latest entries, including Gates of Hell. The other infantry weapons are so underpowered that there's almost never a reason not to use an LMG instead. In MoWAS and GoH they have accuracy penalty from the standing position but your soldiers tend to fire from knee-height cover 90% of the time anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I remember this mission taking me half a dozen times to compete. Eventually I gave up and cheesed it by moving everyone to the rear station to funnel the enemy

Big fan of this game and the franchise. Has alot of old charm, the UI and stuff hasn't aged well, but the cheesy voice lines are great. Crazy how toned down the gore is in the new games. Even in Men of War the models didn't blow up like they do in Soldier's. There's something just so amusing about a guy screaming "take dat" only to turn himself into mincemeat.

There were quite a lot of polish/russian/ukrainian soldiers on the Western front, used mainly to garrison batteries and other military installations, the so called Osttruppen. Basically eastern people that were either captured and forced into the army, or volunteers from the occupied contries. Besides that, the Germans captured tonnes of soviet equipment in the first two years of the war, so given that by 1944 there were a lot of supply shortages in the German army, it made sense that the more expendable soldiers, such as the Osttruppen, would be equiped with the captured weapons.
