How I take notes as a medical student and busy athlete + morning in the life
As a runner and a medical student I am very short on time, so uni has to be as efficient as possible. I hope this little rant about how I take notes on my iPad is helpful to some of you. Maybe you are about to start university for the first time or just want to change up the way you take notes. This is what works for me, and so far it's worked pretty well.
Apologies if you've landed here from my herping videos, but if you're here for the running then I hope I can make lots more videos about that, as to be honest I like running more than study 🏃♀️ if there's any specific topic I can help you with then let me know!

Reptiles tend to like the road because it holds a bit of heat for them. But we do find a lot of snakes already squashed 😭😢 some people try to hit them on purpose unfortunately

Hi, thanks for your vlog! It amazing! I am planning to apply for this program this year and I have a few questions. Would you be kind to help me? 1) Do scholar really do their own research that they have designed or do they just get involved in projects of that lab and do some small part of someone’s project? 2) Were two month enough to finish a whole research project? 3) Did you did all your lab work alone or was your supervisor or lab members always there with you? I would really appreciate your answer! Thank you!
Hi, thankyou! I just published a video about this actually! but to answer your questions: 1 - normally yes your project will be a small subset of someone else's project, but that's just how science is, and it's the best way they can teach you. Your project will still be entirely self-contained, it will just also be part of something bigger, if that makes sense. normally your project will be a compromise between what you want to do and what your lab can offer. 2 - yes! because you are working full-time, it is plenty long enough to finish the research project (by means of answering your initial research question). But if you don't get all the way to the end that's also totally fine, some people don't, and it's just the virtue of their actual project. 3 - some parts i did by myself but most of the time i had a lab member there with me teaching me how to do things. because you are only there 2 months, the aim is to learn as many different techniques as possible rather than repeat the same thing. so i'd get taught how to do something, be supervised the next time i do it, do it by myself next, then I'd probably have reached the end of that experiment anyway

Oma I also love lizards! In Hawaii there’s like a mix breed of geckos and lizards making a green lizard that can change colors or a mix from chameleons and lizards it’s really cool bc it’s like a chameleon in a lizards body
a chameleon is a type of lizard and I don't think they can reproduce with geckos but a colour-changing gecko would be pretty cool!
@@bridgetl yeah but they are very rare to find and are mostly found in back yards I used to catch them but I think the stray cats and my grandparents cat ate them
@@Random_artonline Unfortunately that's the way with a lot of native wildlife with numbers severely reduced thanks to cats... that's why cats should be kept indoors or leashed 😓 it's pretty sad
@@bridgetl oh no the animals in the backyard are still thriving like almost everywhere u look there are birds lizards and a lot of animals also they allow their cat to go in their backyard and originally the cat was grown outdoors and taken care of by my grandmas friend and would have gotten killed by their dog so let’s say that their cat is pretty wild doesn’t hurt anyone tho unless u keep bothering him by pushing em and trying to grab him then he will scratch u and run away

I would guess special interest. ADHD tends to go through hyperfixation phases. Seems more autism to me. Not diagnosing, but I have autism and it reminds me of something I’d obsess over and center my whole existence around 😂
