Nice job, but you seem not to have read ¨Destined to Die Young" by Sally Hoedel. That Elvis´ maternal grandparents were first cousins had an enormous effect on both Gladys´ and Elvis´ health issues and early deaths, which was not understood when all these biographies were written. ¨Destined to Die Young¨ will change how you look at both Gladys and Elvis.

I believe that Vernon’s boss The Orville Bean loaned him $180 to build the house. They also altered the check that Orville Bean had paid them for a hog. About 5 months into Glady’s pregnancy she was sure she was having twins and was getting quite large. (And uncomfortable! )
