Old Ghost Customs
Канада
Добавлен 4 апр 2023
Old Ghost Customs is a small bodyshop in Kelowna British Columbia. Working out of a run down shop in a run down industrial park we do restorations, customizing and general auto body work. We work on classics and muscle cars to work trucks and heavy equipment. We tend to get the projects that normally wouldn't get done, either too rusty or too small of a budget, or both. Always makes for a good challenge.

the blue looks to light on video for ford blue
I polished a small area and matched the paint to that. It looks better in real life.
Great videos! I was contemplating buying an LJ80 as one has been for sale near me for fairly cheap.. should I pass on it and look for a samurai?
LJ's are hard to find parts for. You can get Samurai parts almost anywhere.
Nice looking ford im looking to do up our john deere what did you use to prepare to paint it?
I use my sandblaster with used sand and the pressure turned down. I show the process in an upcoming video.
Why does that 2000 have the headlights in the grill, and those strange Dexta-type looking fenders?...most 2000's I have seen have standard Ford tractor fenders of the era, and headlights mounted on the side of the nose cone....
Don't know. There are factory plugs in the holes on the sides where the headlights would mount.
What’s a paint job like that cost?
It varies. Usually $1500-2000 and they still complain it's too much. I don't do many of these.
7 million.. men in the u.Yeah u s a,, Not working,, Thirty million men worldwide not working...
Retired body tech of forty years,, Thank God. I don't have to do the work anymore. It was all insurance all commission only,, We would sit on our a**** and never get a minimum wage,,, Relegated to working with a chain outfit corporation to get health insurance... Did the industry thirty five years in san diego,,, I was the only white guy left in the shop,, The hispanics were paid much less... work at home as a hobby. Yes, that would be fun but retired and totally broke....
I worked for other shops for years. Got tired of not getting paid, started my own shop, now I have clients that don't pay. Not going to miss it.
Nice job. Most enjoyable piece of jazz that goes with it too - not the hypernervous kind of jingle-janglesounds that make you run away after ten seconds, no mather how interesting the tube. Well done!
Glad you liked it. Picking the music is a struggle. No matter what, someone is not going to like it and they will let you know it. Thanks for watching.
I am an interstate trucker and I travel all over America. I will say for the past 2 years after the scamdemic things have basically falling apart. People are just getting by just being able to feed their families just being able to pay their rent and mortgages and the government just tells everybody everything is peachy. It's not. Going green, not being energy independent. These were the ruination of this country and the Democrats do not care. We have enough resources under our feet in America that we could get gas and diesel prices back to under a dollar a gallon. We would have so many people employed. We would not have to get involved in foreign wars. Where people's sons and daughters and innocent children are getting killed. We need to think about ourselves already. Stop letting the elite take advantage of us.
We're more energy independent now than ever, and we're drilling more than at any point during the trump disaster. The inflation we suffered w😮as a result of the boggle handling of covid, and the tax cuts given to billionaires by djt. Change doesn't happen at the drop of a hat in our government, it takes time for us to feel the effect after there is a cause. This is the same roller-coaster we've been on for decades, republicans destroy and democrats repair the economy. The trump destruction will take more than one term to fix, but Biden certainly brought us a long way from the trump recession. I know everyone says things were better under trump, but in reality, trump rode Obamas economy until he destroyed it.
I couldn"t agree more.
I see you don't have a grip on reality, that's a crying shame.
Better economic climates are out there. Florida? Texas? Democrat run states are a mess for all except politicians and bureaucrats.
Leaving the People"s Republic of Canada is definitely an option at this point.
hope things pan out for the better mate im sure with your metal working skills its just a matter of time bud you do great work
I'm just tired of thinking about. I'm just focusing on keeping the bills paid. I have a couple things in the works, we'll see how it goes. Thanks for watching.
WOW, amazing Job
Thanks for watching.
Wow Dude I think that you're right getting rid of those but I understand your point the way I see it I think they want you to fix it 🤔. Ohh I didn't give you enough money 🤑
It sounds to me you and HotRodGuyGarage need to compare notes; his resto of a botched 1965 Mustang 'restoration' is beyond the call of duty
the city chokes its genuine shopowners and wonders why it needs another 200% tax increase. we are electing clowns that is turning our place to circus.
Great job ,shame you didnt put the original rear wheels (11.2x28) on it to finish 🤨
Those are original, it's an orchard model, I bet serial number starts with an O. See how level it sits? Front spindles and axle knees are short. I have a 3910 Narrow orchard, it's got the same rear wheels but 9.00-10 fronts and it has a more narrow rear end and front axle. Look it up on tractor data
looking good buddy
Looks great man! Sourcing pre-force ('65- 6/'68) Ford body parts is a pain in the butt. Great support for the mechanical end, but the tin, not so much.
Great job !!I have a Ford 961 i wish you could put your magic touch on.
pretty cool bud
Looks great
pretty cool old retro wagon great job on it bud
nice one gotta do what you gotta do on these old cars im sure its going to be a real nice car when finished bud
Nice. I'll bring mine and you can paint it. Lol
Nice work!🇨🇦👍🏻
❤🎉
looks good!
Never knew Ford made that range of tractors with a petrol engine, I always thought they were all diesel engines. Never seen a petrol model. Or is it a modified tractor with an engine transplant. And a down swept exhaust.
That's the original 3 cyl. Gas engines in these smaller tractors were fairly common in those years, around here anyway. The exhaust manifold can be turned to exit up or down. The heat shield is shaped for either direction. Thanks for watching.
Could you please give me the list of the songs you played in your video. I play bass and I’d love to learn a couple of them thank you.
All the music came from You Tube Music Library in Creator Studio. They have a little of everything, some good, some not so much. Thanks for watching.
Love that blues music you play in the video the Ford repaint. Thank you
She's got so fat boys on the rear end looks good.
And crooked like hell
So much fn commercials
BETTER CHOICE ... For a project like this ... try Frank Sinatra ... not "Crank Sinatra". You did a great job and the music should compliment your work.
Good looking rig
Think those front tires are a little past due for replacement. Paint came out real good.
Thanks for the video. What a transformation! May I ask what type/brand of paint you used? I've painted some cars and boats before so I'm not as familiar with DTM options in the tractor/equipment world. Thanks.
I used Cloverdale Maintenance Enamel. It's their cheaper line which works good for these budget jobs. It holds up well. Urethane is better for equipment that will be used and abused. This is just going to parked at his house. Thanks for watching.
I love these old tractors
Why was it necessary to widen the hood? Were there modifications done or was it that so much of the car was essentially rusted away and you had to hand build the replacements? I am working on a 1967 roadster now.
The hood never fit very good the whole time he owned the car. Since we were doing so much metalwork, we decided to rework the panel gaps. It was just for looks. It was a fun project, they are cool little cars.
Talk about "good enough" for a work truck, that thing is a dream truck! Great job on it!
love a 69 cutlas, great work great video pal

nice job looks great pal
Thanks. This started off being just a quick repaint, at least the end is in sight.
so much good work, great job
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Excellent Job! How much does cost?
There was over 200 hours just in metalwork plus bodywork, sandblasting and painting frame and suspension. It adds up quick. Thanks for watching.
great vid.....Thanks.....
Thanks for watching.
Thank you for making this video. The music is good. The details of the metal your working with would be nice.
Glad you enjoyed it. The mounting panel and housing are made from 14 gauge. Thanks for the feedback.
damn man feel for you guys stay safe
They're making good progress. Some people have returned home. 170+ homes burnt.

You are lucky to have so much space for so many projects. Nice shop!
It's been an endless construction zone but it's starting to take shape. Thanks for watching.
