Epic Hummingbird Fights, including slow motion
Late summer means Hummingbird fighting season. The feeder has three spots on it but these three hummingbirds want it all to themselves. Watch them bob and weave and try to sneak a drink while the other two are fighting. Hear them yelling at each other while they fight. Further in, watch some of the same clips in slow motion where you can really see how they do all of their cool maneuvers.
Shot in 4K 60fps but with a lot of zoom in processing, so it's more like 1080P 60fps.

Very informative narration, well done. One nitpick: I believe the conning tower was the primary helm position, and the control room secondary.
SWEET THANK YOU
I visited this ship and enjoyed it so much as it was just like the ship I was on USS Intrepid CVS-11 from 68 to 70. I forgot to check out the fan tail my favorite spot on our ship. Is it open for visiting? I check it out if it's open.
They should have used "In the Air Tonight" again, and brought the show full circle.
Been There - Done That ! I honey-mooned in Charleston in 1990 .
Last of the treaty Battleships.
We made some cool stuff back then
Americas the only country more concerned about preserving warships than it is about saving it’s collapsing infrastructure and society.
Maybe you should call it what it is, a memorial and museum. Ever been to Normandy or to the concentration camp Dachau.
How many battleship museums does the US have?
exactly what are you doing to change it ? don't say nothing
👍
Im building a 1/350 scale model of the alabama and its huge compared to the US fletcher destroyer model in the same scale
What year was she built? 1943?
Is he still at the park?
It's great to see Cooper River, again, after more than thirty years since I left the Navy. 🙂
Coolest shit ever when sonny gets out of the testarossa...holding his gun/
Best scene. From the best show ever/
Their stunned expressions when the plane blows up makes me laugh, like they weren't expecting it, and then Tubbs looks at his gun as if he's thinking, "You've got to be kidding."
Lake amphibian airplane.
In comparison to a german type VII c or the greater type XXI this US submarine was very comfortable. Thanks for this interesting video and kindly regards from Germany.
My best place in the world love it
The labored breathing of whoever is filming makes this unwatchable
Very cool. My father served in Barb (SS-220) in the early '50s.
.Beautiful Stories Channel in Year Thursday September 5,2024.😐.
FYI, if you go visit this ship in the heat of the summer it is very hot below decks. Still worth it.
Fun fact: I’ve been here it was a lot of fun looking at everything, definitely worth the 2 hour drive from Albany to wr
Some of your info is incorrect. Much the the information about Lockheed is intentionally misleading. The government doesn't want us knowing what they really did there. I know a good bit about the underground structures and some of the goings on. My mom's uncle was a Security Guard there, in the civilian sector, where the large concrete building is located. I used to camp inside that building with my dad, as a child. It was completely open then. As a teen a was in Lockheed almost everyday exploring, having adventures, riding motorcycles and horses. I'm one of the reasons why they welded the opening shut. I was told many times to stay out of the above ground and below ground buildings. I kept coming back, going inside and getting caught. They went as far as taking 2 old rusty signs I took from there (a U.S. Federal Government, no trespassing sign & a Radiation warning sign) from my home, threatened to imprison my parents if they didn't keep me out of Lockheed. The threats didn't work, I continued to explore and play there and they welded up several sites. They filled in the entrance to the tunnel and staircase, leading to the underground reactor building. I've been inside those buildings many times. The offices had desk, government papers all over the floors and a lot of equipment. Nearly all of that is gone now. As a teen I was defiant, knew a little about the place and wanted to know more. They (the Government) didn't want me there, but I didn't care. It's probably a good thing that I drove them to shut up much of the place. It was dangerous inside some of those buildings. The concrete building left standing is still there because it's a strong structure. They tried to blow it up, without having a massive explosion. There were massive holes blown in the floor. I've been down inside those holes. I've been inside most of the underground buildings in that area. I've camped on top of the buried reactor. I'm not sure why they took down the Radiation signs along the fence. Anyways, Lockheed has been my playground for nearly 5 decades. I recently watched a video of what it looked like as they were building it. People have no idea how many buildings are underground and how large this facility was. I've said too much! Lol Interesting video though!!
When I was a kid in the late 70's the airplane to the catapult was laying on the deck with ropes around it. A hurricane had come through like a week before and tore it off, leaving it in the water below.. Apparently, they got tired of fishing it out...
The USS Alabama is way better than the USS Iowa because the Iowa is completely stripped unlike that one!

Google map location Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. Well worth a visit. The museum also has a Patrol Boat, Riverine
That top deck needs re-doing bad! Been there. How does something that heavy float?
Que majestuoso son estos buques
Even the "little" guns are lethal. I went on it in 2015 or so, driving back from Houston. It is huge and bristling with guns.
Yorktown CV 10 is not the Yorktown CV 5 that went down durning the Battle of Midway. Yorktown CV 10 was lad down as the Bonhom Homme Richard. Renamed after CV 5 went down after I 168 put 2 torpedoes into her. And one torpedoe broke the back of Destroyer Hammand
Very good tour. You misidentified the C-1 (Trader) as a C-2 (Greyhound). That's okay. 😊 I would like to have seen a bit more of the berthing area. Any idea what division lived in there? The "pots" in the galley are called coppers. They used to be made of copper. As with most non-rated personnel, I did the usual 3-month tour as a mess cook. No regrets. I visited USS Hornet (CVS-12) a few years ago. I met my former Division Officer there. We went up to Hornet's bridge. Bob had been an OOD and I qualified as a helmsman. His son took a picture of the two of us together with my hand on the wheel. We didn't get to do very much as he was in the early stages of Alzheimers. Oh, we served in USS Ranger (CVA-61). The submarine you showed is the USS Clamagore (SS-343). I would like to see one of these great ships restored to their WWII configuration. Add the dual 5" mounts fore and aft of the island, remove the angled deck, open up the forecastle. Maybe add a lot more of the gun mounts that were all along the sides of the ship. These were extremely heavily armed ships. They were designed to be able to defend themselves. I read that the men below decks could tell how close the enemy was getting by the vibration of the guns firing. First the 5", then the 40s. When the 20s opened up, the enemy was quite close. It was a shame that USS Enterprise (CV-6) could not be saved. Even Fleet Admiral Halsey was not able to save her.
My father in law worked there; he is 92 now and still talks about that lab back in the 50's. I'll show him this vidya to see if he recognizes anything.
doing a piss poor job of taking care of that ship charleston. maybe it needs to be taken away from you
I drive by the Yorktown a few times a week. When I was a kid in the early 90’s I remember it was in so much better shape. And they make so much money from people paying everyday to see the ship. The money is probably waisted
18:00 no Casey Ryback in the kitchen :(
Very sad to see how rusted the flight deck is
You went to a lot of trouble to make this and it's appreciated! It's always so cool to see the filming locations. What I like is how you combined the screens! We all miss the days and times when Vice was on the airways. Videos like this are like gold to the real fans!
Great scene Tubbs using P226, why not two Crockett switching weaponry cool.
BRING BACK LYNN THE MIME !!! He was just fired May 2024.
The destroyed railroad bridge across the Etowah river is an awesome sight as well...The Action Adventure Twins have a recent video where they actually breach and explore the underground part of the facility in inflatable dingies. Very cool indeed. Thanks so much for sharing, and I wish everyone a wonderful day!
Lynn is the very best.
God bless the United States of America. Seeing her makes me stand, hand over heart, looking at our flag and saying the pledge of allegiance to the USA, like we'd do every morning at school. 🇺🇸
I went to Seaworld in 2019, and seeing the mime was the most memerable moment of the whole place!
Quite the change from the time I was there. They had just pulled it out of the water. That thing was a mess inside and out. As I remember it had zero paint. A Rusty mess top to bottom. The inside was almost unbearable. Looking down into the lower deck there was water with grease, oil and diesel floating on top. They were in the process of pumping it out. Cudoz to the people who cleand her up. I may take a trip to see her again.
My dad lived in the Charleston area for many years and I vacationed in the Beaufort SC area years ago. Anytime I was in the area I would make it a point to go tour the Yorktown. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤.
I am Really bummed they didnt save the Entertrise. It was the top ship od WW2.
What is the constant splashing whacking sound
Well, I visited Typhoon class submarine and "Peter the Great" nuclear battlecruiser when I served in the navy. These things were dmn big! But I have to admit that battleship is even more impressive. Some kind of old-school engineering, especially these 16''s of main battery.
