My visa became active on the day that it was granted to me by Japan Immigrations. That was a whole month before I even knew what my assignment would be. This is in regards to ALTs who will teach in public schools like myself.

@francellabellaofficial ohh ok, so I would be able to move to Japan prior to actually starting work but just maybe not do far in advance as the company probably delays the visa process to only start closer to the start day of work? And it takes about 8 weeks for the visa to be processed and approved

Or do they prohibit you from using any Japanese in the classroom while teaching? And I read the dress code is business but I hope that doesn't only mean black skirts and white blouses?

@@Nina-fc8ey I don't use Japanese in the classroom since it's a rule and there are specific guidelines that the company wishes to enforce for re - contractual purposes. You could have a very difficult time teaching once the students realize your ability. Your co-workers also are aware of the no Japanese in the classroom rule. Worse case senario would be one of the teachers you enjoy teaching with or building a great relationship with decides to say something about it without you knowing. For dress code : black, grey, blue, beige etc are safe , but you can express yourself in anything that is not revealing and colors as long as they are condinated well.

@@Nina-fc8ey Interac will not delay any processes. They'll wait until the Immigration gives them the approved visa sponsorship. Then, they'll inform you. In my case; I got mine in March, did orientation and training in Tokyo in March and I started working in April which is at the start of the school year. There might also be special cases where persons start at different times of the year. Hope that helps.

In my case, I got an e-mail 1.5 weeks later.

Had my previous filling for over 25 years. Had it changed just now It's hasn't been a year yet and I love what they did. No complains here the two dentist I've met in my lifetime are pretty amazing.

Good question! I never imagined doing anything like this. The goal was to just get braces to fix my overcrowding and that was it. However, my dentist is really detailed in her work and from the very first time I went there they (my dentist and the dental surgeon) have made suggestions that reassured me my dental care is at the level it needs to be. First they suggested, removing cavities, changing a silver-filling I had to one that matches my teeth and now a laser to help with the smile line. I already have a beautiful smile, but that was recommended only because I'm in braces now and with all the fiction that going on, I could use some contouring. So, that's why I agreed.

This is laser not bleaching.

Not sure what part of Jamaica you are in but when I lived there on the west side. There were couriers that would allow you to buy products off Amazon or other online shops and they would have it shipped to them and you could pick it up once it arrives (cleared customs and all) and pay for the service. So check out some couriers. 😊
