This is by far my favourite animation on the internet. I often come back when I am feeling anxious and watch it. It soods my nerves, and reminds me of home, and my mother. Thank you.

This is my favourite animated thing ever, I show this to almost everyone I meet and I make sure to come back and watch it every year. It is a beautiful story with the perfect style it is all I could ever dream of in an animation!

Lovely and imaginative but I nearly quit several times when the music was so loud it obscured the narration. A rookie mistake I encounter too often.

I absolutely adore this. Have you considered taking frames of this and making it into a children's book? Goodness it's so gorgeous. Best as an animation, but I'd 100% buy it as a children's book to put on my shelf and read before bed ❤

Absolutely stunning. I find myself returning to this every now and then just to rewatch. It feels so nostalgic and soft, and resonates so deeply with the feeling of anyone who has felt different, and how our acquired communities are so valuable. You have done a magical job of illustrating such a journey into the form of a fable. Kudos!

this film makes me cry because it reminds me of my own life. beautiful artwork and wonderful narrator

This has the vibes of a picture book with some kind of award that I would have read as a kid from the local library

I've looked through a vast portion of animated student films here on youtube and this is 10/10. Doesn't feel tired. Reminds me of the LOTR animation but cuter and of the Moomins, but not as sweet. So sick of the western anime/tumblr/cartoon network style (general CalArts style?) of a big portion of the student films, where it borders on fanart. Nothing wrong with that style, it just makes me worried for the future of animation. Though you can definitely see anime influences on this animation as well, it feels much subtler and nuanced and therefore becomes it's own thing. Less like fanart. (PS. the animation work is superb!)
