How I Recreated The World of Attack On Titan Using Unreal Engine 5
I was a bit sick when I recorded so please don't mind my voice :')
This was my first actual project that I make using Unreal Engine 5, Not the best that I can deliver but I'm proud of the results.

PS: for those asking how long the project took, I'm not sure how much exactly because I didn't work on it continuously.
But basically it took me about 4 months, not the best duration tho, but it helped me learn unreal.

I thiking doing this all in blender, but using ue5 for creat the world and blender for creat the houses, walls and scenario urban is a good combination

Indeed I could, but I wasn't so experienced with unreal so I didn't know about RVTs 😅

I’m sourcing assets from Sketchfab and will do color grading in DaVinci Resolve 19. One question, do dimensions really matters when it comes to animating? I asked AI already and it told me that unrealistic dimensions may affect simulations, shading and whatnot. But should I really care about when making a animation?
Usually no, as long as you keep it realistic relatively to the world that you story is happening in. But it feels right to keep everything on a scale.

Have you considered making all the districts? It will be a colossal effort (pun intended).... but it's just more content... which I personally will watch every second of. You have a great talent for 3d modeling and unreal 5. And it just looks amazing. All AOT fans are beside themselves.
Indeed I have! When I was making Shiganshina I was looking for reference, and it was difficult to fing accurate search results using google, so you have to relay on the episode to know the districts from the context. For example there were districts like "Stohes" or something shown in the series, they look similar but they are actually different! Like different buildings and roads styles, different river location and so on. A big project that I hope to be able to do one day is re-creating the whole island as an open world game while maintaining optimization and performance, so much easier said than done but I think it's possible. 😶🌫️
@@muneerty Thanks for the reply, and yes 100%....it's literally impossible to find a reference as you said it's a fake anime show. But what made me fall in love with your video was somehow you figured out a way. You made it look as close as possible while mapping everything in 3D. That's so crazy what you did. So I was thinking if you do go for the other districts, (maybe not the whole island) you can just make an approximation. Which will probably end up being smaller in real life than Eren flying for 3 mins over buildings 😂. Another thing I loved is that when u faced project ending hiccups and starting over, you always found a solution. I would have 100% given up. This gives me hope that one day you will be the one to pull this off. Do you know how amazing that would be for all AOT fans? I sent your video to my brother and we have been talking about it non stop. Either way, I am a fan of yours now and will watch your future uploads. Amazing work, and an amazing video. You have our full support. (Also Erin's close up house scene was nuts)
