Tbh that's quite the achievement considering how insane that plane was. I know it got smacked with the nerf bat awhile ago but I wish they hadn't haha. Its such a struggle to fly well currently.

@ but the F15E has two massive engines that produce crazy amounts of thrust, and also JF-17’s gun pointed slightly downwards, so I believe that this is the fight that the eagle could win

However, the thunder is lighter, and it just really depends on the pilot rather than the plane. If this was the charlie variant of the eagle, then it would be just unfair

They are alright every once in awhile I can out BVR other players but its way more difficult. I just want them to fix the flight model of the Flankers.

@ tbh I honestly think the su is a environmentally dependent jet, bvr is a tough one tho they don’t have the efficiency that they got short range when going up against the f15s they can just throw one and the go cold and repeat, unless u got something to buy time with there isn’t much you can do Yk?

Yeah Ive found it harder to survive in the FOX-3 meta. Now after this update its even worse with the new F-15s flying around.

Haha I cant speak on how it is in a true 1v1 with no outside factors. It doesn't deserve the hate its getting (I understand why) its just a very hard fighter to play in game. Its a way different play style to other FOX-3 platforms.

not so fast buddy, the j10c has a considerably better engine, the j16 WS-10b with 3d thrust vectoring, i dont know about you but that’s no joke especially for the amount of thrust that single engine will produce on that tiny airframe

@@solo_eagle Well actually the ws-10b was only put on an experimental j-10 for demonstration purposes. I doubt that it would come as a TT vehicle before the su-35 and other jets with TVC comes

@ the closer you are to him as he starts the spin the more possibilities there are once he catches the stall, that also gives him a slight easier shot to hit but if you have enough position and energy it might be enough to dodge and reverse (might)

Possibly, the Fullback also isn't meant for dogfighting. Yes it can but its not what it was designed for.

@@sTix43_ The Su-27 airframe in war thunder has just been done really dirty sadly, though I would imagine as that fullback making better choices would definitely save him. Cool dogfight though, the guy probably wanted to get a flashy kill so he did what he had done.

​@sTix43_ why would it change. The viggen was like that all the time. They just copied the old viggen and gave it new missiles. There's nothing new to the flight model. It's a darn delta wing of course it can pull like crazy.

@@adriancoric1721 Never played with the Viggen until now so I wouldn't know if they messed with it. I assumed it wasn't that different than the old one.

@sTix43_ it's been like this before and no changes on the flight model were found or announced by gaijin. That's just how the plane is. But I heard the su-27 is receiving some changes
