Eaton UltraShift Q & A Troubleshooting
I think Eaton should get sued of all this pieces of $h17 automated crap they’re selling us. 1st learn from Volvo.
Looking code 46
Have one in a truck at work. It’s painful and I hate it. Much rather have a manual.
This was pointless…
The fuel saving is great n all until you need repairs , it's gonna a hug headache.
Yeah ima stick with an actual manual.
So basically you just said turn the key off 🤦♂️
I’m trying to heat my cabin but is not working the heater
Having the same problem. I'm in Wyoming right now
Same thing happening to my truck. Won’t heat
I normally drive a 2022 Volvo truck. While that truck is undergoing repairs, I was given a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia to drive until my Volvo is ready. I cannot get the heater for the bunk area to work. I have tried everything. My conclusion? This truck is a piece of garbage. Can’t wait to get my Volvo back.
Mine. Transmission check light flashing. And F/N. Or F/ number of the gear I’m driving keep switching. Took it to a service they change one speed sensor still same. Took it to a dealer they changed another sensor ECA or sth. But still the same ! Already spend $4000 but not fixed
Absolutely horrible motor's!!!! And then the surging issues. And yes the hot engine temperatures before the fan kicks in. Not a fan at all.
The older trucks that have any mechanical engines get roughly the same mileage, really sad that newer drivers 100% rely on computers to tell them how to drive
This thing great! Just leased a 2019 Cascadia EVO and it came with a park smart. It's winter here and it honestly keeps the entire cab warm without an issue. Love it!
I want to know detroit serie 60. Of 14 liters.....work minime RPM ?? 5, 6,or 7 RPM ??
What will be fuel average on dd15 505hp with 3.73 ratio 13 speed ?? Any suggestions
Personally i dont like these engines, the power band is not broad at all, power and torque drops off after 1600rpm, while the x15 carries the horsepower out to 2000rpm, right now im running a c15 cat, i keep it between 1300 and 1800 and always above 1500 when pulling hills, pyro temps get too hot under 1500rpm when im pulling 105k
I LITERALLY FELT BETTER after watching this such an amazing & knowledgeable video ! 🙏🏻
Probably need to get it to as service center...
😆 🤣 😂
No sir one thing that was announced is not true. They said the engine is designed between 1000 and 1500 but the dam automatics sometimes skips gears and the bastard drops all the way to 800 rpms a lil lower than 1000 Thats killng the engine and burning fuel and lugging the engine. I agree dropping to 1000 wont hurt but droppin to 800 is way too low....
Nice, thank you for explanation
I did not know that an engine fan consumes up to 50 horsepower.
Hydraulic fans consume the horsepower as they require engine power to turn. Electrically-driven fans run independently of the engine itself and won't cut into engine horsepower.
But there will still be an electrical load that the alternator must make up for by converting some engine power into the required electricity?
Electrical fans are powered by the truck's electrical system directly, so it will place some extra load on the system. However, the engine doesn't have to work harder to produce enough energy for the alternator to convert into electricity. Today's technological advances should've already resolved the electrical load issues with electric fan cooling.
