Круто, что вы ее победили с первого раза =) нам с другом потребовалось 3 попытки =) но у нас и еды не было с собой
Food definitely helps (a lot!) We had a few close moments though!
I think she is getting Akane/June mixed up with Clover and Santa mixed up with Snake with some of the information she is remembering.
Yeah, she's definitely doing that on occasion. To be fair, there are some pretty long gaps between recording sessions so that may be impacting her. I do try to correct her whenever I notice but I might still be letting a few slip by.
It was Seven in the yellow submarine ending that brought up the Ganzfeld Experiment.
Oh, I think I remember that now. When they were talking about the kids in the hospital, right?
@@VictoryAchievedGaming correct
I have seen someone actually pick the safe ending the first time and the true ending the second time and never get any of the other endings, so, yeah, when they mention about the rabbits later, those people would have no idea what they are talking about. They also would have no idea why Lotus was involved. Another interesting thing about that, when Snake asks Junpei if he knows about the Ganzfeld Experiment, if you haven't gotten the yellow submarine ending, Junpei says no and Snake explains it to him, but if you have gotten the yellow submarine ending, as you saw here, Junpei does know about the Ganzfeld Experiment. Guess, he remembers more about the other time lines the he realizes. Same thing with the rats, the he tells Snake about, that was also a different timeline.
I love that little touch. It's such a great but small detail to add. Also, thanks for answering my question.
I have always wondered, how exactly does one tell how happy a clam really is?
If it's always smiling, there's no way. It's all a façade! Their body isn't their only shell, they protect their emotions as well!
Well, in kind of defense of Clover, I don't think she can keep a secret if her life depended upon it.
Haha! Yeah, poor girl.
The comment about the sappy stuff was her "accidentally" touching his hand. If you click on the handrail at one point at the top, clover asks if Junpei wants to hold her hand, which Snake misinterprets as her offering to help him. Clover does a little bit of flirting with Junpei in this room if you click on the right stuff. Sure hope June isn't watching.
Haha! Wow! I think I've only done the first one. I'll see if I can find some clips of that as I'm curious.
Finally, my favorite group for solving puzzles, even if the library is my least favorite room, not hard but very tedious and annoying.
Yeah, I'd have to agree with you on that. Quite a bit of trial and error when it comes to searching.
There are two number 9's, if the 9th man was a six he couldn't have opened door 5 with Clover and Ace
Yeah, definitely agree with you.
Well, since Ace knew the puzzles, he probably didn't even both, but went straight for the passwords to open the doors.
Didn't think about that. Yeah, he probably went right through them.
As smart as they are, and even with Snake's Daredevil senses, I still think they were at their brightness when they decided to have a blind guy search 6 rooms for a couple of small items by himself.
Haha! Yeah, but desperate times call for desperate measures!
If you choose the wrong order to push the buttons, the tutorial-chan, aka, the Morphogenetic Field voice makes fun of you, reminds you of how to get the correct answer and lets you try again.
Haha! That's pretty good!
There are speculations but no real canon explanation given from the writer, but most people believe that Somnia Files and the Zero Escape Universe are the same universe, with the Morphonogetic Fields, only they don't call it that or even reference that name in Somnia Files. Admittedly, I haven't finished A.I. Somnia Files yet myself, so I don't know how true or similar those fan theories are. I have problems with timed puzzles, so A.I. Somnia Files is a little bit more difficult for me, I tend to choke when I am given a time limit on solving puzzles.
That's understandable. I haven't gotten around to playing it myself yet but Kathlynn really enjoyed her experience with it.
Yeah, there is no way any Zero would ever set up a game that relies on just luck. LOL. None would ever do that in any kind of "Nonary Game"
Yeah, I think I know what you're talking about. (Wink, wink)
get out of my houuuuuse
Personally I always shipped Junpei more with Clover than with June, but this scene makes that ship more like caring parent or older brother to daughter/sister, even though there is only a couple of years between them, despite her appearance.
That's really interesting cause the game definitely pushes the Junpei June ship. Yeah, it's a surprisingly small gap, something we learned when we looked up the ages early in the series.
Squid Game would be another good example, but, spoilers below in case you know nothing about that show.... he was playing the game as well as having others watch it, the mastermind in that game.
Interesting. Also, thanks for leaving the gap and spoiler warning!
Yeah, Junpei's mocking voice is great.
It's so funny! I'd forgotten how great it is!
CAS is real, though I don't think it is called that. However, it is only used to freeze food, like Ace mentioned, that is why frozen food now days taste better than it did when I was younger. You could freeze a person with it, but even if they survived the freezing process, which I doubt, there is no way they would survive the thawing out process, so it isn't useable on a living person, not and still keep them alive.
Yeah, I thought that was the case. Flash freezing is one thing but flash unfreezing is something else entirely!
I think they intentionally left that one open, at least I haven't heard any theories that are canon for Junpei ending. But, I imagine he probably was just brought back to his house. I don't know why they would kill him, but I never heard a definite answer anywhere.
Yeah, it's definitely interesting. Wonder what that timeline would be like. Also, Kathlynn still hasn't finished the game yet so be cautious with spoilers.
Actually, if you select stock market instead of gambling when you get the four leaf clover, you find out even more about Santa. One, he is a stock broker, and that he invested in a company called Cradle Pharmaceuticals
That was the one I was referring to. Since ya'll were talking, not sure if she noticed he said that she died 9 years ago, which would lead you to believe she died in the nonary game, but maybe she already figured that out.
Thanks again for telling us about that scene! I honestly don't think I've ever seen it before. I can't recall if she put that together or not but I'll definitely bring it up to her when the time comes.
Actually, you know enough now to know she didn't get out. She was going to use her's, Junpei's and the Zero bracelet to get out, but you already know at this point that the zero bracelet is actually number 6, so she couldn't use it.
Yeah. I'd suspect Ace tracked her down as well. He was definitely going to head over with his 1, 8 and 9 bracelets so they were going to meet up at some point. Would've loved to see how Ace would've reacted when he tried to open...THAT door.
Ah, hate to correct her, but they never said they were the only family, I think she is mistaking Santa for Snake. That is all I can safely say for now.
I did notice she mixed up the two names a few times. I eventually noticed and corrected her.
I agree, that is a good song. I still like the you screwed up and are about to die song the best, but that one is second best for me.
Yeah, I remember you mentioning that. They're both great songs!
Good luck with your channel!
Thanks! Any support we can get is appreciated.
The part you forgot to mention in the Monty Hall Problem is after you choose a door they open one of the three doors that does not have the prize. The reason your chances go up is because there is a good chance your original guess was wrong and by going from 33% to 50% it actually is higher than 50% that you were wrong the first time.
I completely forgot about that! Ah! I'll let Kathlynn know about that.
LOL, I guess she forgot how terrified Lotus was when they found all the dead bodies in the submarine ending.
Haha! She certainly did!
If you had novel mode on, it would have told you that snake crushed his hand and slipped the bracelet off, then left it in the coffin.
Oh! Thanks for letting me know. I'll tell that to Kathlynn next time we record.
There is a secret to those numbers. If you multiply them by something, I don't remember exactly what, they give a long number that gives all the actual bracelet numbers in the game.
Oh wow! Let me know if you remember because I'd be very interested to see how that works!
@@VictoryAchievedGaming I went and looked it up for you. I will put it down below so as to not spoil it for her and any other viewers, so don't scroll down if you don't want to be spoiled. You multiply the number by 9. This gives you 129450789. Ace 1 Snake 2 Santa 9 Clover 4 Junpei 5 June 0 Seven 7 Lotus 8 Ninth man 9
I always thought it was so funny that the scene with Santa and June and her fever is the exact same picture as Junpei and June from the steam room, they just switched out Santa's head and main body, but they left Junpei's arms.
Really?! I have to go back and check that!
What they didn't mention here was the dead Cap's body. It has been confirmed by the writer that Clover hid his body under the bed in this timeline, that is why Seven and Lotus never saw it.
I was wondering that myself the other day. Thanks for the answer!
Also, in the submarine ending, when they show the 3 bodies, if you look at Ace, he is actually not sitting exactly in the blood pool underneath him, but off to the side, and the is no blood on top of him like there is with Clover and Santa.
Oh! I'll need to take another look at that scene! Thanks for telling me!
Not totally true that taking out the number nine doesn't hurt anything. As long as it is only two doors with a total digital root of 9 like the first set with 4 and 5 which make 9, or the second set of 9 and 9, you are fine. But the second set with 3,7 and 8 plus the other set with 1,2, and 6, both of which are also a 9 digital root combined, you lose the ability to go through all 3 doors at once and can only go through 2 at most. So if you need stuff from all 3 doors, you have to waste time sending a team through the other door after finishing the first two, like they had to at 3, 7, and 8.
Interesting. Hadn't thought about that before.
The scene that you missed, Santa said his sister died 9 years ago, take of that, what you will.
It was a cool scene. I don't think I'd ever seen it before.
@@VictoryAchievedGaming Most people miss it since it isn't marked with a key. I think that was a mistake on the developers part.
@@thomasshykes6983 Yeah. It should definitely have an indicator of some sort at least.
They said it, it is Akane Kurashiki.
Ah, cool. Thanks for letting me know.
Well, unfortunately, you missed the scene I was talking about, before you exit the steam room. No big deal, but it does give a hint to Santa's character.
I think we did see it though. It was when he was talking about the letters that his sister would send to Santa, right? We took a look at it after we got the Zero Lost ending.
@@VictoryAchievedGaming that was it
@@thomasshykes6983 Perfect. Glad to hear it.
Adding to her farm story, my sister has a ranch with cows and chickens and geese and horses. They also have a pack of dogs to protect them from coyotes. They found that they have to only use female dogs, because the coyote's are very smart and if you have male dogs in your pack, they will use a female in heat to draw the male dog away from the pack and kill it. Yeah, canines are very smart.
That's actually incredible! Amazing to think they can strategise like that!
Yeah, I am a devoted Zero Escape fan, so I try and watch and help any new people playing this game I see. One thing I was going to point out, but it may be too late, depending on how much earlier you recorded this, even though there is no key, you should also jump to the exit of the steam room next. There is new dialogue there, that explains a little about Santa. I won't say now, in case you actually remembered to go there, but as I stated, it may already be too late.
That's interesting. We're recording tomorrow so I'll bring it up and see if we can do that.
By the way, most people don't get it, but the reason Santa says you got lucky if you pick one or two, is because that makes you the only one who picked a door that sets up a team with what they need to go thru that door.
That's a really good observation. I never noticed it before but I see it now.
There's a clever bit of foreshadowing here that most people miss. Unfortunately I can't really spoil it. Kind of a useless comment then, lol :/
It's only Kathlynn who hasn't played the game before so you're free to talk about the foreshadowing as long as you put a spoiler warning and several returns.
@@VictoryAchievedGaming oh, nice! Thanks! MAJOR SPOILER WARNING After Kanny dies, they show a quick shot of her bracelet... still on her wrist.
@@myboatforacar Oh wow! I've never noticed that before!
@@VictoryAchievedGaming It's pretty clever, isn't it? SPOILER WARNING That one and the water level on the flooded Deck D being described at one point as "placid" (i.e. not rocking back and forth with the waves) are probably my 2 favourite bits :D
You get the credits because this is a bonus ending, meaning an ending that you don't have to get but it is an actually ending. The other two endings were actually game overs. Only the first game of this trilogy treats them like an ending, but I think that is because there was no flow chart in this game when it first came out.
Yeah, that's true. I really should've remembered but I completely forgot.
No, that was the elevator with the Lotus, ooops, I mean Mercury symbol on it.
Haha! Good one!
Also, yeah, Lotus was right, her life did get a little bit shorter, LOL
Yeah, it got A LOT shorter.
I think one of the things I like most about this ending and this writer, they never actually tell you who killed everyone. The writer expects you to be smart enough to figure it out with the clues you have. The only ones you can really rule out are Clover, since Seven checked her pulse, June since she was with you when Seven and Lotus were killed, and of course Lotus, Seven and ourselves since we were behind the #2 door when the killing started. That leaves not many suspects, but enough to give you a good hint if you remember the other endings and the fact that Lotus's bracelet was missing.
Yeah, we talked about that recently when we did our newest session. A major reveal has happened (you probably know the one) and I went over the other endings with her and their implications. I loved her reaction in this BTW (can't believe she got jump scared when the stab happened!)
WOW
I know, right?! We couldn't believe that happened!
Pull the lever Kronk. LOL, if you get it, you get it, if you don't, oh well.
Wrong lever!
have fun playing ori and the blind forest! <3
We sure are! It's one of my favourite metroidvanias so I'm so happy to share the experience with my friend!
Wow, 16 kids kidnapped, I wonder why. Was someone going to make them play a killing game, maybe at Hope's Peak Academy. Also, gee the parallels. The main person with amnesia just happens to be a detective. Where have I heard that one before, LOL.
Oh wow! Yeah, I can see those parallels now! Would be weird if there was some Zero Escape Danganronpa mashup but I guess that was what the Final Dead Room kinda was. I seriously thought it was a reference since they're both Spike Chunsoft properties but they hadn't merged at that point so maybe it was just a regular escape room segment.
@VictoryAchievedGaming The writers of both are very good friends and often collaborated on ideas. The premise of the AB game in VLR is actually taken from the original concept of Danganronpa. It was originally going to be multiple endings with FTE's determining who dies but that was over their budget so the idea was given away to be used in that game instead
@@thomasshykes6983 Oh! That's fascinating!
cool game ;)
It was a lot of fun. Well, for me at least. I think Kathlynn was a bit worn out by the end (the final boss is pretty sadistic!)
