Had mine for 3.5 years and no issues. The temp probes stopped working but I replaced them. All good now. I use it a lot and keep it clean. I never cook higher than 375 either.

Attempting to cook chicken wings at 365+ degrees as well as acknowledging the hot spot on the grill but burning his food in said hotspot 😭. Along side that most pellet grills were made in the purpose they would be used for smoking not conventional cooking. Just stick to a stovetop or a propane grill, this might be a little complicated. Along side these facts, the grill is dirty. Reallll dirty. The dust on the outside is probably from outside conditions, pouring the pellets from their bag, cheap pellets, or just not being cleaned. I think the user is the problem tbh.

I have the foundation grill and have had heat temp problems, board problems with this grill. i have talked to my dealer and the company and they basically say it is my fault not the grill. The heat is a big deal to me. i cannot get it to regulate for me and will spike 10 to 15 degrees and never settle on the temp that i set it to. As soon as i can i will sell this grill and get a traeger. As with you i was sold on this grill being magnificent. Also told that I am their only customer that has had issues. I even ask them to give me 1000 back and i would buy the top of the line traeger from them. They just looked at me as if i was crazy. last anything i will buy from that store.

I have had one of these for two years. Every time I use it I am anxious because I have has so many problems with it! I Replaced temp probe. When I did I noticed the bundle of wires inside were not clamped together at all. It’s brand new! Now it’s Sunday, and I can’t find help on how to replace the obviously shot fuse. I just don’t recall Signing up for this!

Yes i noticed heavy carbon on them when doing spark plugs but left alone any idea on how to clean?

You should change the oil anytime you replace the vvt solenoids. That engine cant get enough clean oil anyway.

Wow i am having same issue low end rpm stutters at 30 mph did vvt spark plugs and coils and tons seam foam still having issue 3.6 L buick lacrosse

King Repair, great video. I just replaced the 4 camshaft position sensors and now it is throwing P0016-P0018 codes, saying "Crankshaft Position-Intake Camshaft Position Not Plausible". I'm also noticing when I slow down there is a little hesitation. Did you have to drain the oil before replacing the solenoids?

Mine is consistent and heat and i don’t have theses issues. I personally got mine for $499.99 on a Black Friday deal. I had a Pit Boss Laradeo before this and this has been 80 millions times better.

Are all 4 solenoids the same where they connect to harness?

425 degrees seems way to hot. I've never cook chicken at that high of a temp on any grill, gas , wsm or pellet. Try 225 degrees and if you want to add some smoke drop the temp to 180 to 200. Gives us an update video on how it goes.

Curious what else you tried besides the temp probe, and what the company's cs had to say about it. My Traeger's pot isn't in the middle, but I guess it's a different design.

Uneven pellet dispersing (design). Uneven heat(design). Bluetooth connectivity problems(mechanical). $1200 price tag (My stupidity). Bought brand new. I've had it for 14 months. Replaced parts. Soo sad! I really wanted to love this smart pellet grill (especially for football/grilling/smoking season).

Completely agree with you on everything you’ve pointed out. Poor design and fire hazard. I’ve had three fires in my pellet hopper because of the high heat igniting pellets in the worm drive.

Have you ever used a good old Weber charcoal grill nothing fancy about them but you get perfect results

I can tell you don’t clean it well. Do you take a ship vac every cook in the ash trap and bottom ? Come on man

Sucks man, good explanatory video though, from all the videos I've seen yours has the best so far however nobody identifies the top and bottom solenoids if they are intake or exhaust, I only saw one video that said the top ones are in taking the bottom or exhaust

Hey sorry to hear! I have the black label 1200- only issues I’ve had so far have been the pellets backing up and not dropping in to the burn pot once in a while. Is it the type of pellets that’s producing the soot?? I clean out my burn pot every cook + barrel every few cooks no issues.
