Easily Sew a Christmas Table Runner with Reverse Applique Step by step FREE Templates
Another Christmas make for you this week. This time we're making a reverse applique Christmas table mat, or runner. Before you go off and watch the video, I just wanted to point out that if you don't intend on placing hot items on the mat, you don't really need the wadding. I've added it to the tutorial because it's easier to omit it when you're sewing than it is to explain it without actually adding it.

How much Total fabric is used in the making..please specify ma'am
If uisng a different fabric for inside, you should get 5-6 pairs of bi, otiea from a fat quarter. Obviously this depends on the size you choose to make.

Is this reversable
They can be turned the other way out but you'd need to hand sew the opening closed instead of top stitching it closed or you'll have a small section that sticks out slightly x
The print out doesn't include scale to make sure its accurately printed
I will add this when I get a chance. However, if you print at 100% on A4 paper it will be right.

Is there sound?
Not on this one. I was trialing a no sound episode but it didn't do as well! I can look at releasing another version with sound when I have time if it helps x
Thank you for sharing :) in the video you mentioned a "spider"...because the machine was eating the material. What is a spider?
It's a small piece of fabric use to start the sewing process. Your first few stitches are sewn into it (it's a scrap pieces which eventually looks like it has a million legs coming off it) and then you go straight into stitching your actual project. I hope this explains it, if not give me another shout and I'll try again 😘
