When her hair stood up from static electricity made me nervous. That meant there was either an electrical short somewhere on or under the stage, or the air was full of a static charge from a possible lightning storm somewhere miles around. There are several reports of people's hair standing up like that right before a lightning strike. One of the most famous pictures is two kids standing on top of Half Dome in Yosemite right before they were struck by lightning.

@torturedspeakrepgirl I think on one of the two times it happened there was a lightning storm in the area. But anytime someone's hair stands up like that randomly that means there is an electric and or static charge around them. It just doesn't happen randomly, and it's definitely concerning when it happens. But usually at events if there is a ground strike of lightning within a certain vicinity of an event people are instructed to take cover, but lightning can strike from miles away.

@@torturedspeakrepgirl Me too, or anyone else in the crowd. That would of been absolutely devastating. Outdoor shows do have that kind of weather risk. I remember at a Sugarland show years ago a sudden storm with a down draft hit and it collapsed the entire stage and fell on the audience killing some in the crowd. Sara Bareilles had just opened and Sugarland was minutes away from taking the stage. There is video of the incident that is absolutely terrifying.
