I launched Autel Evo II from The Town and Country Inn just outside Gorham NH. It was a steady and steep 2 mile climb over Mount Hayes (2546ft). I then took a slow sweeping turn East towards Maine and then headed back to the hotel. The drone returned with about 40% battery power remaining. -Filmed in 4K

Lets see if Ricky Bobby can summit Mt Washington with no training at all....Spoiler: He didn't make it... Anyways we had a great time. Corey and I summited after a little over 5 hours. We had hail, lightning storm, and 60-80mph winds! We decided to not hike back down as we were SOAKED!

Fire tower on Overlook Mountain in the Catskills sits at about 3200 ft above sea level. There is a cool abandoned hotel on the mountainside that was built in the 1920's and closed soon after. The location is pretty remote with a 2.5 mile hike to the top. Filmed with DJI Mavic Pro 2

4:30am Ride to Hight Point State park in NJ by the point bordering NY and PA. I tried to keep the clips in order Starting at about 6:45 until the sun arrived at about 7:15. DJI Mavic Pro II Zoom until 1:28 when my Autel Evo II 8K took over filming. Great park, especially for sunrise/sunsets.
So how durable is has it been all this time?
@@jonmandelbaum5395 I use it a lot, still runs great. I think only thing that broke was a steering arm. Everything else is perfect.

I still have the Evo1 which is good enough for me. I don't fly all that often but surely enjoy it. I'm here on LI NY and always looking for new places to fly. I love flying over or by water. Thanks CC! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! When I got into flying drones I didn't even know about Autel. I had some DJI stuff and bought the Evo 2 when it first came out. This was in the Catskills New York if you wanted to visit, I live in Connecticut so I don't know any spots on Long Island to fly. I'll check out your channel!!
@@dangerousdan5801 Thanks Dan. Going to sub to your channel. I like to support those in the drone community. I'm looking at the DJI mini2 just to have something smaller then those monster Evo's. I will say that Autel makes an awesome drone and camera. My Evo1 still holds it's own.

You most likely won't have any trouble except for the rear steering. One side of mine will just Slightly touch the center tire on a really tight corner. But not often.

@@dangerousdan5801 I'm in Ontario, Canada. We would plan on flying into El Paso and stay a night there to visit White Sand Dunes and then go to Whites City as you suggested and visit both Carslbad Caverns and Guadalupe. Then drive to Big Bend and stay in Terlingua. We would stay 4 nights in Whites and then 5 in Terlingua..what do you think?

Looks great in green! Try running it with the tires on so the tread is backwards. That is how I run those tires on my Gen7 and it claws through almost everything.

Not oil filled. I have a konghead too but I like the Dynahead better. What country are you in?
Dangerous Dan Norway. The suppliers here only know it will be for sale in Norway sometime this year. Could order it internationally, but must finish my konghead first, and then I have a couple of other kits to do, so I can wait a bit.
Norway will be a great spot for Dynahead! Get ready for 70+ bearings!!!

@@malelonewolf80 you will need 25 630 bearings. 630 is an extra small size for the portal axles
