Last Sunday we performed "A Shepherd's Carol" as a family for our Christmas Zoom Church meeting. I remixed that performance and wrote a musical composition for it. This is some footage of the kids playing outside after our massive snowfall. Hope you enjoy. Merry Christmas from the Jensens.

Chloe's Solo

Recorded live at Fly By West Studios. Treva performed a walkthrough of her song before we began the recording session so that Engineers at the SRA could better envision the arrangement and accompaniment. Between her and the band we recorded lead vocals, harmonies, drums, percussion, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, cello, piano, and organ in under 3.5 hours. It was an incredible experience.

After reading and analyzing the lyrics to K'naan's Waving Flag and making text-to-self connections, my students wanted to record a remix. Changed the key from Cmaj to A#maj and then changed the lyrics up a bit. I teach for a program called CSI that works with Inner City Kids and At-Risk Youth. These kids are in grade 5/6.
