Hello Tony, I’m wondering do you have information on the materials you use like the paper that’s best for working with charcoal, I heard you said you use hair spray after you draw your portraits 😳 is that the best to secure the work from smearing ? It seems like it may be the least expensive which is smart 😊 but where do you have a list of materials best brands that are best quality etc… thank you 🙏 my Mother was an exceptional artist her medium was charcoal and I like it and I got her abilities although it’s fairly new and I realize it’s about just doing it and I enjoy working either way charcoal as I find it creative in how you can work with it by smudging, taking away with an eraser and just with your fingers and laying in more and just playing with it to get what you want 😁🥰👍🏻 so I want to get info on materials do I don’t over spend and but have just what I need and how to take care of my finished product . If you can send me an email with what I’m asking for id love that and appreciate your support. I also like your approach to drawing portraits 👍🏻❤️🙏 gloriamargolis@icloud.com

I really like to watch you draw charcoal portraits. And I loved the color paintings you showed. Thank you for showing what you do and sharing your ideas. Pedro from Portugal.

What an amazing direct approach that was Tony! I agree with you on so many points, especially the line drawing and coloring in stuff. I can do that but find it more satisfying to start with a sketch of very diluted Ultra marine blue and just get on with it. Watercolor is my main medium, and I am experimenting with different techniques for portraiture...very fun! Thanks for the demo!!

Wow~~ Lovely to see you here. I was pleasantly surprised. Do you spray them with hairspray to seal them so they don't smudge ? Beautiful work Tony and I sure hope your classes are going well. God bless you and I will be watching out for you.

Wonderful video! I am happy today because it's raining here. Im going to go out and practice your teachings. Thank you very much for the classes and tips. my takeaway is that I should make quality and timeless art that will hold its value and appreciate enough to cover the expenses of the secondary market. Big thanks to Liliana Pena who buys my artworks. I've had much better sales since I stopped using galleries. It makes my work more affordable and accessible.

I’m so glad sometime last year I came across her in the studio where I draw sometimes. Artist don't work for tech companies. Start with selling your arts either as Nft’s or Etsy, learn how to sell.

If you're in Art without making profit out of it someway...idk what to tell you. My advice to everyone is this: if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to explore and meet new people. Drawing is great but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about your finances. Thanks to Liliana Pena, my bank account is screaming sell more of your artwork lol. My pocket is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made early this year.

I'm condused. This video is simply pics portraits, beautiful as they are. The other comments imply that you are leaving YT. I'm devastated to hear this news. I watched your videos ever evening, not always in order. Umfortunately, I missed the one where you made this announcement. I cant tell you how disappointing this is for me. You inspired me to buy charcoal supplies and started me portraiture. Please upload some of your videos for us to just rewatch. I sure hope you are back soon.

Sir, this video changed my view about art, drawing and all about these topics. Before this video i think i have to learn; anatomy, methods, rules and so on and i feel stuck in soo much time. But you sir taught me this is art and i have to learn myself i know if you want draw comic you have to learn anatomy and rules etc but if you want just draw or sketch it is limitless. Thank you so much sir! I appreciate it!
